Վարազդատ Լալայանը՝ Եվրոպայի Մ23 կրկնակի չեմպիոն

Ալբանիայի Դյուրես քաղաքում անցկացված ծանրամարտի Եվրոպայի մինչեւ 23 տարեկանների առաջնությունն ավարտվեց աշխարհի փոխչեմպիոն Վարազդատ Լալայանի փառահեղ հաղթանակով:
+109 կգ քաշայինների պայքարում նախորդ տարվա Եվրոպայի մինչեւ 23 տարեկանների չեմպիոնը հավասարը չունեցավ նաեւ Ալբանիայի մրցահարթակում:
Երկամարտի 440 կգ արդյունքով Լալայանը հռչակվեց Եվրոպայի Մ23 կրկնակի չեմպիոն:
Հայաստանի թիմի վերջին ներկայացուցիչը գերծանր քաշային կարգում պայքարը սկսեց ամենավերջում, երբ բոլորն ավարտել էին իրենց մրցելույթները: Պոկում վարժությունում առաջին մոտեցմամբ հաջողությամբ բարձրացրեց 190 կգ, երկրորդ մոտեցմամբ՝ 200 կգ: Աշխարհի փոխչեմպիոնը երրորդ մոտեցումից հրաժարվեց եւ պոկում վարժությունում պայքարն ավարտեց 200 կգ-ով: Լալայանը նվաճեց նաեւ այս վարժության փոքր ոսկե մեդալը՝ 25 կգ-ով առաջ անցնելով մրցակիցներից:
Հրում վարժությունում նա պայքարը սկսեց 230 կգ-ով: Երկրորդ մոտեցմամբ հաջողությամբ հրեց նաեւ 240 կգ: Այս վարժությունում էլ Լալայանը նվաճեց փոքր ոսկե մեդալ՝ այստեղ էլ 25 կգ-ով հետ թողնելով մրցակիցներին:
Վարազդատ Լալայանը 50 կգ-ով շրջանցեց այս քաշային կարգում արծաթե մեդալ նվաճած ուկրաինացի Օլեգ Հազնենկոյին (390 կգ, 175+215), բրոնզե մեդալակիր է դարձել Հոլո Ժիլարդը (356 կգ, 155+201):
2021 թվականին Ֆինլանդիայի Ռովանիեմի քաղաքում անցկացված ծանրամարտի Եվրոպայի մինչեւ 23 տարեկանների առաջնությունում Վարազդատ Լալայանը չեմպիոն էր դարձել երկամարտի 447 կգ արդյունքով (206+241): 22-ամյա ծանրորդը Ֆինլանդիայում սահմանել էր նաեւ մինչեւ 23 տարեկանների երեք ռեկորդ՝ պոկում, հրում վարժություններում եւ երկամարտում:
Ալբանիայի մրցահարթակում Հայաստանի մինչեւ 20 եւ 23 տարեկանների հավաքականները նվաճեցին 14 մեդալ՝ 7 ոսկե, 4 արծաթե, 3 բրոնզե: Չեմպիոններ են դարձել Գոռ Սահակյանը (67 կգ), Միլենա Խաչատրյանը (76 կգ), Սուրեն Գրիգորյանը (89 կգ), Լիանա Գյուրջյան (81կգ), Գարիկ Կարապետյանը (96 կգ), Արա Աղայանը (96 կգ, Մ23) եւ Վարազդատ Լալայանը (+109 կգ), արծաթե մեդալակիրներ՝ Էմմա Պողոսյան (81 կգ), Ջուլիետա Ավանեսյան (+87 կգ), Պետրոս Պետրոսյան (102 կգ), Յաշա Մինասյան (109 կգ), բրոնզե մեդալակիրներ` Ռաֆիկ Մինասյանը (61 կգ) եւ Մնացական Աբրահամյանը (81 կգ) եւ Մերի Թումասյան (87 կգ):
