Ռուսական զորքերը սկսել են նահանջել Խերսոնի շրջանի արևմուտքից, հավանաբար մտադիր են նահանջը ձգել մի քանի շաբաթ, բայց դրան կարող են խանգարել Ուկրաինայի զինված ուժերը, եթե որոշեն հարձակվել։ Այս մասին ասվում է Պատերազմի ուսումնասիրման ամերիկյան ինստիտուտի (ISW) ամենօրյա ամփոփագրում։ Ինստիտուտի փորձագետները նշում են, որ Խերսոնից նահանջն աահովելու համար ռուս զինվորականները կարող են պայթեցնել Կախովսկայա հիդրոէլեկտրակայանի ամբարտակը։
Ուկրաինայի «Հարավ» օպերատիվ հրամանատարությունը հայտնում է, որ ուրբաթ օրը ռուսները «բավականին ակտիվ» լաստանավերով տեխնիկա են տարել Դնեպրի արևմտյան ափից։ Նահանջը պահանջում է, որ այն առաջին գծում ծածկված լինի ուկրաինական հարձակումներից։ Դա պահանջում է լավ պատրաստված զինվորականներ, ովքեր պատրաստ են զոհաբերել իրենց՝ իրենց ծառայակիցներին փրկելու համար, նշվում է ISW զեկույցում։ Բայց, ըստ ուկրաինացի զինվորականների, ռուսական կողմը, ընդհակառակը, փորձում է վտանգավոր գոտուց դուրս բերել իր առավել մարտունակ ստորաբաժանումները։
