Ալբանիայում շարունակվող ծանրամարտի Եվրոպայի մինչեւ 20 տարեկանների առաջնությունում Հայաստանի ներկայացուցիչ Սուրեն Գրիգորյանը նվաճեց Հայաստանի երրորդ ոսկե մեդալը: 89 կգ քաշայինների պայքարում Գրիգորյանը երկամարտի 340 կգ արդյունքով նվաճեց չեմպիոնի տիտղոսը:
Այս քաշային կարգում Հայաստանի երկրորդ ներկայացուցիչ Գեւորգ Ղահրամանյանը երկամարտի 325 կգ արդյուքով 5-րդն է:
Մ20 Եվրոպայի փոխչեմպիոն, երիտասարդների աշխարհի փոխչեմպիոն Սուրեն Գրիգորյանը պոկում վարժությունում առաջին մոտեցմամբ բարձրացրեց 153 կգ, ապա 155 կգ: Այս վարժությունում նվաճեց փոքր արծաթե մեդալ: Երրորդ մոտեցման 158 կգ-ը չհաջողեց: Հրում վարժության միայն մեկ մոտեցումը հաջողությամբ կատարեց՝ գլխավերեւում պահելով 185 կգ: Երկրորդ մոտեցման համար պատվիրված 190 կգ-ը ձախողեց: Երրորդ մոտեցման չգնաց, քանի որ արդեն շրջանցել էր թուրք մրցակիցներին եւ հռչակվել չեմպիոն: Այս վարժությունում էլ արժանացավ փոքր ոսկե մեդալի:
Գեւորգ Ղահրամանյանը պոկում վարժությունում գրանցեց 140 կգ արդյունք, հրումում՝ 185 կգ: Այս վարժությունում Ղահրամանյանն արժանացավ նաեւ փոքր արծաթե մեդալի:
89 կգ քաշային կարգում արծաթե մեդալակիր դարձավ թուրք Կան Ուլաս Կունրազը (339 կգ). Բրոնզե մեդալակիր՝ թուրք Հական Սուրկու Կուրնազը (337 կգ):
Ավելի վաղ Եվրոպայի մինչեւ 20 տարեկանների պայքարում չեմպիոն էր դարձել Գոռ Սահակյանը (67 կգ), Միլենա Խաչատրյանը (76 կգ), բրոնզե մեդալակիրներ են դարձել Ռաֆիկ Մինասյանը (61 կգ) եւ Մնացական Աբրահամյանը (81 կգ). երկունս էլ մինչեւ 20 տարեկանների պայքարում:
Հոկտեմբերի 21-ին մրցահարթակ դուրս կգան նաեւ մինչեւ 20 տարեկաններ՝ Սուրեն Գրիգորյանը (89 կգ) եւ Գեւորգ Ղահրամանյանը (89 կգ), մինչեւ 23 տարեկաններ՝ Վարդան Մանուկյանը (89 կգ) :
