Եվրամիությունում շաքարի ռեկորդային բարձր գները, որոնք գրեթե երեք անգամ ավելի բարձր են, քան մեկ տարի առաջ՝ եղանակային պայմանների եւ էներգիայի թանկացման պատճառով, հրուշակագործներին ստիպում են մտածել արտադրությունը կրճատելու մասին, գրում է Reuters-ը։

Շաքարավազի առեւտրականները եւ ոլորտի փորձագետները ասում են, որ մայրցամաքում զտված սպիտակ շաքարի տեղում գները վաճառվում են մոտ 1050 եվրո մեկ տոննայի դիմաց, ինչը երբեւէ գրանցված ամենաբարձր ցուցանիշն է:

Համաշխարհային շուկայում գները, ընդհակառակը, այս մակարդակի մոտ կեսն են։

«Շաքարի շուկան ճգնաժամի մեջ է»,-ասում է Մուրիել Կորտերը՝ ԵՄ հրուշակեղենի արդյունաբերության «Կաոբիսկո» ասոցիացիայի գործադիր տնօրենը: «Մենք մտավախություն ունենք, որ մեր ընկերությունները եւ հատկապես մեր բազմաթիվ փոքր եւ միջին ձեռնարկությունները կարող են շուտով կանգնել բարդ ընտրության առաջ՝ ժամանակավորապես դադարեցնել կամ կրճատել արտադրությունը այս ձմռանը»,-հավելել է նա։ 

Շաքարի արտադրությունն ամենաէներգատար արդյունաբերություններից է, եւ ԵՄ-ում այն ​​հատկապես կախված է գազից։

ԵՄ-ում գազի գնահատված գները մոտ 700 տոկոսով բարձր են անցյալ տարվա սկզբի մակարդակից։

Հրուշակեղենի արտադրության գերմանական ասոցիացիան՝ BDSI-ն, հայտնել է, որ Գերմանիան՝ ԵՄ-ում քաղցրավենիքի եւ խորտիկների ամենամեծ արտադրողը, վտանգում է կորցնել իր մրցունակությունը նույնիսկ եվրոպական երկրների համեմատ։

Գերմանիան հատկապես մեծ վնաս է կրել ռուսական գազի մատակարարումների կրճատումից:

Եվրահանձնաժողովն ակնկալում է, որ շաքարի արտադրությունը 2022/23-ին (հոկտեմբեր-սեպտեմբեր) կնվազի 6,9 տոկոսով եւ կկազմի 15,5 միլիոն տոննա՝ պայմանավորված ցանքատարածությունների կրճատմամբ եւ ամառային սաստիկ երաշտով։
