Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ Էմանուել Մակրոնը Ռուսաստանին մեղադրել է Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև վերջին բախումների «նպատակային սադրանքի» մեջ՝ «կովկասյան տարածաշրջանում և դրանից դուրս իրավիճակն ապակայունացնելու ջանքերի շրջանակներում», հայտնում է Reuters- ը ։  

«Ինչ է կատարվում սահմանին վերջին երկու տարիներին... 5000 ռուս զինվոր ենթադրաբար այնտեղ է, որպեսզի երաշխավորի սահմանը, (բայց) ռուսներն օգտագործել են այս հակամարտությունը, որը մի քանի դարի պատմություն ունի,  Թուրքիայի մեղսակցությամբ խաղացել է Ադրբեջանի խաղը  և վերադարձել է թուլացնելու ժամանակին իր համար մտերիմ եղած Հայաստանը: Տեսնո՞ւմ եք, թե ինչ է կատարվում, դա Ռուսաստանի կողմից ապակայունացման փորձ է, նա ցանկանում է անկարգություններ ստեղծել Կովկասում՝ մեզ բոլորիս ապակայունացնելու համար»,- ասել է Մակրոնը։

Նա հավաստիացրել է, որ Ֆրանսիան «միայնակ չի թողնի Հայաստանին: Հայաստանը մի երկիր է, որի հետ մենք եզակի կապ ունենք: Ադրբեջանը մի քանի գրոհներ է ձեռնարկել սահմանի երկայնքով։ Մենք դատապարտեցինք նրանց։ Մենք հայերին չենք թողնի»,- ասաց նա։

Նա հիշեցրել է, որ Ֆրանսիայի և Եվրոպական խորհրդի ղեկավարի միջնորդությամբ Պրահայում կայացել է Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարների հանդիպումը՝ եվրոպական քաղաքական հանրության գագաթնաժողովի շրջանակներում։ «Սա, ի դեպ, թույլ տվեց Հայաստանի վարչապետին նորագույն պատմության մեջ առաջին անգամ հանդիպել Թուրքիայի նախագահի հետ»,- ասել է Մակրոնը։

Հարցին, թե արդյոք ԵՄ-ն Ադրբեջանի նկատմամբ հանդուրժողականության ինչ-որ ձև ունի, քանի որ ԵՄ-ն գազի մատակարարման համաձայնագիր է ստորագրել, Մակրոնը նշել է, որ Ֆրանսիան գազ չի գնում Ադրբեջանից։ «Իհարկե, մի քանի եվրոպական երկրներ գազային համաձայնագրեր ունեն։ Բայց ես ձեզ կասեմ Ֆրանսիայի և Եվրոպայի ձայնի մասին և ասում եմ, որ մեր արժեքներն ու սկզբունքները հնարավոր չէ գնել ո՛չ գազով, ո՛չ նավթով»։
