Հոկտեմբերի 10-ին սակարկումների բացման ժամանակ Եվրոպայում գազի արժեքը 7 տոկոսով ընկել է՝ հունիսի վերջից ի վեր առաջին անգամ գներն ընկել են 1500 դոլարից ցածր հազար խորանարդ մետրի դիմաց: Այս մասին են վկայում ICE բորսայի տվյալները։

TTF ինդեքսով ֆյուչերսային պայմանագրերը ցածր կետում արժեցել են 1473,6 դոլար։ Այնուհետեւ գները փոքր-ինչ բարձրացել են՝ նյութը գրելու պահին արժեքը կազմել է 1508 դոլար հազար խորանարդ մետրի համար:

Անցյալ շաբաթ գները սկսել էին կտրուկ իջնել ձմռան համար ստորգետնյա պահեստարաններ գազ մատակարարելու Եվրոպայի առաջընթացի ֆոնին: Ամսվա սկզբին երկրները ավելի քան 90 տոկոսով լրացրել են պահեստային տարածքները՝ առաջ անցնելով նախատեսված գրաֆիկից: Հոկտեմբերի 5-ի գազային օրվա ավարտի դրությամբ եվրոպական պահեստարաններում եղել է 97 միլիարդ խորանարդ մետր (90,12 տոկոս) գազ՝ 107,7 միլիարդ խորանարդ մետր առավելագույն տեղի պայմաններում:

Միեւնույն ժամանակ, պետություններն արդեն սկսել են վառելիք վերցնել պահեստարաններից, եւ հոկտեմբերի 8-ի վերջին պահեստարանները լցված են եղել 88 տոկոսով, ըստ GIE տվյալների: Եվրոպական երկրներում բավականաչափ բնական գազ են կուտակել գալիք ձմռանը առանց մեծ դժվարությունների գոյատեւելու համար, հոկտեմբերի սկզբին ասել է Միջազգային էներգետիկ գործակալության (IEA) գործադիր տնօրեն Ֆաթիհ Բիրոլը: Նրա կանխատեսումների համաձայն՝ խնդիրներ կարող են առաջանալ միայն փետրվարին կամ մարտին, երբ անհրաժեշտ կլինի լրացնել պահուստները։ Նա, սակայն, չի բացառել լրացուցիչ քաղաքական կամ տեխնիկական «անակնկալները»։
