«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է

Օրեր առաջ անդրադարձել էինք Սամվել Բաբայանի՝ ակտիվ քաղաքականություն վերադառնալու փորձերի մասին լուրերին՝ նշելով, որ նա առաջիկայում պատրաստվում է Ստեփանակերտում հանրահավաք անցկացնել։ Հոկտեմբերի 5-ին Բաբայանի հանրահավաքը կայացել է, եթե, իհարկե, դա կարելի է հանրահավաք համարել: Չնայած այն հանգամանքին, որ նրա թիմակիցներն այդ միջոցառմանը նախապատրաստվել են մոտ մեկ ամիս, գյուղերում փորձել են մարդկանց համոզել, որ մասնակցեն, այնուամենայնիվ, սպասված արդյունքին չեն հասել. հավաքը նկատելի սակավամարդ է եղել և արդյունքում որակվել է ոչ թե որպես հանրահավաք, այլ՝ «հանդիպում»։

«Փաստ» թերթի տեղեկություններով, Բաբայանն անգամ Արցախի նախագահ Արայիկ Հարությունյանին է դիմել՝ հանրահավաքին հնարավորինս շատ մարդ ապահովելու խնդրանքով։ Որպես մոտիվացիա Բաբաբյանը նշել է, որ այդ ամենն արվում է Արցախի համար, բխում է արցախցու շահերից, և նմանօրինակ այլ պաթետիկ պնդումներ է արել։ Արցախյան մեր աղբյուրը փոխանցում է, որ Հարությունյանը չի համաձայնել օժանդակել Բաբայանին՝ նշելով, որ մեկ անգամ արդեն ընկել է վերջինիս թակարդը և բնավ ցանկություն չունի նույն գետը երկրորդ անգամ մտնել։ Ըստ էության, նաև դրանով էր պայմանավորված, որ Բաբայանի «հանդիպման» բուն թիրախը եղել է Հարությունյանը. հիմնական քննադատությունն ուղղված էր նրան։

Չնայած առաջին հայացքից տպավորություն կար, որ Բաբայանը փորձել էր հարցուպատասխանի միջոցով արձագանքել իր անձի շուրջ հետպատերազմյան ժամանակահատվածում տիրաժավորվող մեղադրանքներին ու քննադատությանը, այնուամենայնիվ, հավաքի մասնակիցներից շատերը, մեր տեղեկություններով, համարել են, որ ոչ միայն վերջնական ու ամբողջական չի պատասխանել օդում կախված հարցերին, այլև գոյություն ունեցող հարցերն էլ ավելի են խորացել, դեռ մի բան էլ՝ նորերն են ավելացել: Այլ կերպ ասած՝ մարդկանց ակնկալիքներն ու սպասումները չեն բավարարվել։
