Համաշխարհային արժութային պահուստները նվազում են ռեկորդային արագ տեմպերով, քանի որ կենտրոնական բանկերը Հնդկաստանից մինչեւ Չեխիա միջամտում են իրենց արժույթները պահպանելու համար, գրում է Bloomberg-ը։

Այս տարի պահուստները նվազել են մոտ 1 տրիլիոն դոլարով կամ 7.8 տոկոսով՝ մինչեւ 12 տրիլիոն դոլար, ինչն ամենամեծ անկումն է այն պահից, երբ Bloomberg-ը սկսեց տվյալների հավաքումը 2003-ին։

Մասնակի անկումը՝ կեսից ավելին, ըստ Standard Chartered Plc-ի G-10 FX հետազոտության գլոբալ ղեկավար Ստեֆեն Ինգլիների, պայմանավորված է եղել գնահատման փոփոխություններով: Երբ դոլարը 20 տարվա առավելագույն ցուցանիշի հասավ այլ պահուստային արժույթների նկատմամբ, ինչպիսիք են եվրոն եւ իենը, դա նվազեցրեց այդ արժույթների պահուստների դոլարային արժեքը: Սակայն պահուստների նվազումը նաեւ արտացոլում է սթրեսն արտարժույթի շուկայում, որը ստիպում է ավելի շատ կենտրոնական բանկերին ներդրումներ կատարել իրենց «մարտական սնդուկներում»՝ արժեզրկմանը հակազդելու համար:

Հնդկաստանի պահուստներն, օրինակ, այս տարի 96 միլիարդ դոլարից նվազել են մինչեւ 538 միլիարդ դոլար: Այս տարի ռուփին դոլարի նկատմամբ կորցրել է մոտ 9 տոկոս եւ անցյալ ամիս պատմական նվազագույնի է հասել:

Ճապոնիան 1998-ից ի վեր արժույթին աջակցելու իր առաջին միջամտության ժամանակ սեպտեմբերին մոտ 20 միլիարդ դոլար ծախսեց՝ իենի անկումը դանդաղեցնելու համար: Դա այս տարի կկազմի պահուստների կորստի մոտ 19 տոկոսը։ Չեխիայի Հանրապետությունում արտարժութային ինտերվենցիան նպաստել է պահուստների 19 տոկոս անկմանը փետրվարից:

Չնայած անկման մասշտաբներն արտասովոր են, արժույթները պաշտպանելու համար պահուստների օգտագործման պրակտիկան նոր բան չէ: Կենտրոնական բանկերը դոլարներ են գնում եւ կուտակում են իրենց պահուստները, որպեսզի դանդաղեցնեն արժույթի արժեւորումը, երբ գալիս է օտարերկրյա կապիտալը: Երբ դժվար ժամանակներ են, նրանք օգտագործում են պահուստները՝ կապիտալի փախուստից հարվածը մեղմելու համար։
