Ադրբեջանի հետ մահացու բախումներից հետո Հայաստանն ավելի շատ աջակցություն «գտավ» ԱՄՆ-ի մոտ, քան իր դաշնակից Ռուսաստանի։  Ամերիկյան Fox News հեռուստաալիքն այսպես է նկարագրել Հայաստանի շուրջ ստեղծված իրավիճակը վերջին իրադարձություններից հետո՝ ներկայացնելով Հայաստանի անվտանգության խորհրդի քարտուղար Արմեն Գրիգորյանի հետ հարցազրույցը: Fox News-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ Հայաստանի պաշտոնյաները «անհանգստացած են», որ Ռուսաստանը շարունակում է զենք մատակարարել Հայաստանի հակառակորդին՝ Ադրբեջանին։

Հակառուսական տրամադրությունների ու ՀԱՊԿ-ի դեմ շարունակվող դժգոհությունների ֆոնին, ի՞նչ նոր զարգացումներ կարող են արձանագրվել առաջիկայում։

Անդրադառնալով հարցին, քաղաքագետ, «Դեմոկրատական այլընտրանք» կուսակցության նախագահ Սուրեն Սուրենյանցը ԼՈՒՐԵՐ․com-ի հետ զրույցում նշեց․

«Հայաստանում կան որոշակի հակառուսական տրամադրություններ, որոնք, մի կողմից օբյեկտիվ հիմք ունեն, որովհետև Ռուսաստանը կամ ՀԱՊԿ-ն չեն կատարում իրենց դաշնակցային պարտավորությունները, մյուս կողմից՝ գեներացվում են իշխանամերձ շրջանակների կողմից»:

Քաղաքական գործիչը չբացառեց, որ արևմտյան որոշակի շրջանակներ Հայաստանի իշխանությանը ճամբարափոխության առաջարկ են արել․

«Մեր որոշ գործիչներ էլ՝ առանց ռիսկերը հաշվարկելու, տրվել են գայթակղությանը: Սրանով հանդերձ՝ արտաքին քաղաքականության վեկտորալ փոփոխությունը քիչ հավանական եմ համարում»։
