Հոկտեմբերի 3-ին Ն․Ս․Օ․Տ․Տ․ Գարեգին Երկրորդ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք եւ Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնում ընդունել է Իտալիայի Վճռաբեկ դատարանի առաջին նախագահ Պիետրո Կուրցիոյի գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը՝ ուղեկցությամբ ՀՀ Վճռաբեկ դատարանի նախագահ Լիլիթ Թադեւոսյանի։ Այս մասին NEWS.am-ին հաղորդում են Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնի տեղեկատվական համակարգից։
Հանդիպմանը ներկա է եղել նաեւ Իտալիայում ՀՀ արտակարգ եւ լիազոր դեսպան Ծովինար Համբարձումյանը։
Ողջույնի իր խոսքում Վեհափառ Հայրապետն արձանագրել է, որ հայ ժողովուրդն ամենաջերմ զգացումներն է տածում բարեկամ Իտալիայի նկատմամբ, որի հետ հարաբերությունները խարսխված են ընդհանուր պատմամշակութային եւ քրիստոնեական արժեքների հիման վրա։
Բարձր գնահատելով երկու երկրների Վճռաբեկ դատարանների միջեւ ձեւավորվող գործակցությունը՝ Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը նկատել է, որ հայ-իտալական դարավոր բարեկամությունն արտահայտվում է նաեւ եկեղեցական մակարդակով, ինչի վկայությունն են Հայ Առաքելական եւ Հռոմի Կաթոլիկ Եկեղեցիների եղբայրական փոխհարաբերությունները։
Անդրադառնալով արցախյան 44-օրյա պատերազմին եւ սեպտեմբերի 13-ին Ադրբեջանի կողմից Հայաստանի նկատմամբ սանձազերծված ռազմական գործողություններին՝ Նորին Սրբությունը նշել է, որ Արցախի եւ Հայաստանի հանդեպ Ադրբեջանի կողմից իրականացվող ագրեսիան ու ոտնձգությունները կանխելու համար անհրաժեշտ է միջազգային հանրության խիստ դատապարտումը։ Նորին Սրբությունը կարեւոր նկատել է նաեւ միջազգային հանրության գործուն աջակցությունն Ադրբեջանում պահվող հայ ռազմագերիների շուտափույթ վերադարձի գործընթացում։
Իր հերթին պարոն Պիետրո Կուրցիոն ընդգծել է, որ Հայաստանն ու Իտալիան, լինելով քրիստոնյա երկրներ, ունեն նույն արժեհամակարգը եւ այդ առիթով վստահություն հայտնեց, որ հայ-իտալական ջերմ հարաբերությունները կզարգանան ու կամրապնդվեն նաեւ երկու երկրների Վճռաբեկ դատարանների միջեւ փորձի փոխանակմամբ եւ համագործակցությամբ։
Հանդիպմանն անդրադարձ է կատարվել նաեւ Ադրբեջանի վերահսկողության տակ հայտնված տարածքներում հայկական հոգեւոր-մշակութային ժառանգության ոչնչացման ու յուրացման փաստերին։
