Ճապոնիայում Ամանորն ունի իր առանձնահատկությունները: Տոնական են համարվում միայն հունվարի 1-ն ու 2-ը, սակայն իրականում ճապոնացիները գնալով ավելի հաճախ են սկսում հանգստանալ Նոր տարուց մի քանի օր առաջ: Տարվա վերջին օրը փակ են շատ բանկեր, եւ ծառայողներն իրենց թույլ են տալիս աշխատել սահմանափակ կազմով կամ առհասարակ չաշխատել, հայտնում է RIA Novosti-ն:

Ամանորի նախապատրաստության կարեւոր տարրը գլխավոր մաքրությունն է: Որպես կանոն՝ այն սկսում են Նոր տարուց մեկ ամիս առաջ: Այդ ժամանակ Ճապոնիայում մաքրում են ամեն բան՝ տները, տաճարները, աշխատավայրերը, մեքենաները, տան կահ-կարասին: Դրա խորհուրդն այն չէ, որ Նոր տարին պետք է սկսել մաքրությունից, այլ այն, որ անհրաժեշտ է դուրս հանել փոշու եւ կեղտի այն նշույլները, որոնք մնացել են ամենաանհասանելի տեղերում:

Նոր տարվա առաջին օրը ճապոնացիները պատրաստոմ են հատուկ ուտելիք՝ օսետի: Այն 2-3 տարբեր ուտեստից բաղկացած սննդատեսակ է: Նախկինում այն պատրաստում էին Նոր տարուց մի քանի օր առաջ, որպեսզի Նոր տարվա առաջին օրը դառնա տարվա 365 օրերից միակը, երբ ճապոնուհի մայրը կարող է չզբաղվել տնային գործերով: Իսկ հիմա այն Նոր տարուց մեկ ամիս առաջ հնարավոր է պատվիրել ցանկացած խանութում:

Եվս մեկ կարեւոր բաղադրիչ է առաջին արեւածագը նշելը: Այդ ավանդույթի սիրահարների համար հատուկ այցելություններ են կազմակերպվում դեպի Ֆուձի լեռ, որտեղ նրանք դիմավորում են առաջին լուսաբացը:

Ճապոնացիները շատ են կարեւորում առաջին երազը: Համարվում է, որ այն, ինչ տեսնում ես առաջին կամ առնվազն երկրորդ օրվա գիշերը, կանխատեսում է ողջ տարվա ընթացքը:
