Գեղարքունիքի մարզի Շողակաթ համայնքի Աղբերք գյուղը ցավով ու հպարտությամբ է հրաժեշտ տվել 2022 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 13-ին Հայաստանի Հանրապետության դեմ սանձազերծված ադրբեջանական լայնածավալ ագրեսիայի հետեւանքով զոհված  հերոս Ադամ Կարոյի Կիրակոսյանին։

Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրեց Աղբերքի միջնակարգ դպրոցի ուսուցչուհի Արմինե Շուշանյանը, Ադամը ծնվել է հենց այս գյուղում, 2002 թվականի հունվարի 8-ին։ Սովորել եւ ավարտել է Աղբերքի միջնակարգ դպրոցը, Հայոց բանակում ծառայության է անցել 2022 թվականի հունվարից։ Նա այդ ընտանիքի միակ արու զավակն էր։ Ադամը ծառայում էր Սիսիանում, իսկ մարտական գործողություններին մասնակցել է Իշխանասարի հատվածում։

«Ադամի հայրը զբաղվում է գյուղատնտեսությամբ, մայրը դպրոցում է աշխատում։ Նա մեր դպրոցի սիրված ու հարգված, ուշիմ ու խելացի աշակերտներից մեկն էր, շատ էր սիրում բնագիտական առարկաները, ուներ բնատուր դատողություն։ Շատ աշխատասեր էր, գյուղատնտեսական աշխատանքներում միշտ օգնում էր ծնողներին։ Նրա զոհվելու բոթը ցնցեց բոլորիս։ Պատմում են, որ Ադամն իր դասակի հետ հերոսաբար է մարտնչել թշնամու գերակշիռ ուժերի դեմ, սեպտեմբերի 13-14-ի մարտական գործողությունների ժամանակ ցուցաբերել անօրինակ խիզախություն։ Ցավոք, նա զոհվել է թշնամու արկի պայթյունից։ Ադամը նաեւ մեր գյուղից ու դպրոցից առաջին զոհն է։ Մենք որոշել ենք նրա անունով կոչել դպրոցի դասարաններից մեկը եւ ստեղծել Փառքի անկյուն, որպեսզի մեր աշակերտների համար Ադամը միշտ մնա որպես հայրենասիրության խորհրդանիշ, որպեսզի հավերժ ապրի նրա անունը»,-ներկայացրեց Արմինե Շուշանյանը։
