Սիրելի՛ հայրենակիցներ, այսօր նշում ենք Ստեփանակերտի օրը: Այս մասին տեղեկանում ենք Ստեփանակերտի քաղաքապետ Դավիթ Սարգսյանի ֆեյսբուքյան գրառումից, որում նշվում է.
«Արցախի մայրաքաղաքն իր հերոսական անցյալով միանշանակ արժանի է տոնական՝ գունագեղ հանդերձանքի, հետաքրքիր միջոցառումների, ինչին արդեն սովոր էին Ստեփանակերտը, ստեփանակերտցիներն ու հյուրերը: Բայց 2020թ.-ի սեպտեմբերի 27-ը նաև այս առումով անխուսափելի փոփոխություններ պարտադրեց: Տոնական միջոցառումներից ձեռնպահ մնալով հանդերձ` այսօր պարտավոր ենք կրկնակի ու եռակի ջանքեր ուղղել հերոսների կյանքի գնով պաշտպանված մեր հայրենիքի այս փոքրիկ պատառիկը շենացնելուն, ամրացնելուն։
Պարտավոր ենք հանուն մեր նահատակների հիշատակի, պարտավոր ենք հանուն գալիք սերունդների։ Այդ խորդուբորդ, բայց և պատվաբեր ուղին ենք ընտրել 1990-ականներից ի վեր։ Անցնող ամեն օրը նշանավորվում է մայրաքաղաքի դիմագծում ևս մեկ երանգ ավելացնելով՝ ևս մեկ շենք կառուցելով, ևս մեկ փողոց բարեկարգելով, քաղաքային միջավայրը ևս մեկ նոր հնարավորությամբ համալրելով։
Պատերազմից հետո Ստեփանակերտի բնակչության կտրուկ աճ ունեցանք։ Արցախի օկուպացված բնակավայրերից տեղահանված մեր հազարավոր հայրենակիցները Ստեփանակերտում են ապաստան գտել։ Մենք բոլորին ընդունել ենք գրկաբաց։ Վստահ ենք՝ կգա օրը և կկատարվի նրանց երազանքը. յուրաքանչյուրն իր հարազատ օջախը վերադառնալու հնարավորություն կունենա:
Իսկ մինչ այդ կանենք ամեն ինչ, որ քաղաքի ենթակառուցվածքները արդիականացնենք, հզորացնենք` չնախատեսված ծանրաբեռնվածությունը հաղթահարելու, մայրաքաղաքի բնականոն կյանքը չխաթարելու համար։
Օգտվելով պատեհ առիթից՝ ուզում եմ երախտագիտությունս հայտնել մեր համայնքային ընկերություններին ու գործընկեր բազմաթիվ կազմակերպություններին քաղաքի կենսագործունեությունն ապահովելու համար... Խունկ ու խոնարհում մեր հերոսների հիշատակին, որոնք գիտակցաբար իրենց կյանքը զոհասեղանին դրեցին նաև հանուն Ստեփանակերտի …
Սիրելի՛ հայրենակիցներ, մեր մշակույթների ու դարաշրջանների խաչմերուկ քաղաքը դեռ կտոնի իր օրը խինդուծիծաղով, երգուպարով: Յուրաքանչյուրս՝ մեր տեղում և ամենայն պատասխանատվությամբ, պարզապես պետք է հնարավորն անենք այդ օրը մոտեցնելու համար...
