Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը հայտարարել է, որ Ռուսաստանի Դաշնությունը կարող է և պետք է ուսումնասիրի Ուկրաինայում գրաված զինատեսակները, որպեսզի արագ և արդյունավետ կերպով կատարելագործի իր սեփականը։ Այս մասին պետության ղեկավարն ասել է սեպտեմբերի 20-ին՝ Պաշտպանական արդյունաբերական համալիրի ձեռնարկությունների ղեկավարների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ, գրում է iz.ru-ն։
«Կցանկանայի առանձնահատուկ ընդգծել այն փաստը, որ մեր տեխնիկան արդյունավետորեն դիմադրում է արևմտյան զենքին։ Ինչպես հայտնի է, ՆԱՏՕ-ի զինանոցների բոլոր պաշարները դաշտ են նետվել Կիևում գործող ռեժիմին աջակցելու համար, ինչը նշանակում է, որ մենք պետք է և կարող ենք ուսումնասիրել դրանք, այդ զինանոցները, և այն, ինչ կա, և ինչ օգտագործվում է մեր դեմ, որպեսզի որակապես մեծացնենք մեր հնարավորությունները և, ելնելով ձեռք բերված փորձից, կատարելագործվենք այնտեղ, որտեղ դա անհրաժեշտ է, մեր տեխնիկան, մեր զենքերը՝ սա բնական գործընթաց է, և, իհարկե, դրանից պետք է օգտվել։ Միաժամանակ անհրաժեշտ է դա անել հնարավորինս արագ և արդյունավետ»,- եզրափակել է նախագահը:
Ավելի վաղ՝ սեպտեմբերի 19-ին, Ուկրաինայի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Դմիտրի Կուլեբան հայտարարել էր, որ Ուկրաինան կշարունակի զենքի լրացուցիչ մատակարարումներ խնդրել արևմտյան երկրներից մինչև հակամարտության վերջնական ավարտը։ Նա նաև ավելացրել է, որ Ուկրաինայի հակահարձակումը հստակ ազդանշան է բոլոր երկրներին, որ իմաստ ունի շարունակել զենք մատակարարել Ուկրաինայի Զինված ուժերի կարիքների համար։
