«Այն ներուժը, որը Հայաստանում ձևավորվել է բարձր տեխնոլոգիական ոլորտում, կիրառելի է նաև ռազմական ոլորտում»:

«ԱՐԱՐ» հիմնադրամի համահիմնադիր, հասարակական-քաղաքական գործիչ Ավետիք Չալաբյանն է այդ մասին ասել՝ քննադատելով վարչապետի պաշտոնը զբաղեցնող Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի հայտարարությունը, թե Հայաստանի պաշտպանությունը կազմակերպելու համար կա զենք-զինամթերք ձեռք բերելու անհրաժեշտ գումար, սակայն դա հնարավոր չի լինում։

Ըստ Չալաբյանի՝ ի վերջո ամբողջ աշխարհում հենց ռազմական ոլորտն է, որ բարձր տեխնոլոգիաների պահանջարկ է ստեղծում:

Հասարակական-քաղաքական գործիչը, ով ահռելի փորձ ունի Հայաստանի և Արցախի պաշտպանունակության բարձրացման գործում, նկատում է, թե մենք արդեն ունենք լուրջ արդյունքներ, որոնք այս ռազմական գործողություններում որոշակիորեն օգտագործվել են:

«Բայց անհասկանալին այն է, որ դրանք օգտագործվել են արտադրող ընկերությունների կողմից, այլ ոչ թե բանակի: Բանակը չի գնում այդ սպառազինությունը, որովհետև համարում է, որ այդ սպառազինությունն իրեն պետք չի: Բանակը պետք է սկսի սեփական ռազմարդյունաբերություն, սպառազինություն արտադրել»,- ընդգծել է Չալաբյանը:

Ի՞նչ պետք է անել՝ ըստ Ավետիք Չալաբյանի:

«Առաջին հերթին անհրաժեշտ է ունենալ պաշտպանության նախարար, որը հստակ գերակայություն կունենա՝ աշխատելու մեր սեփական ռազմական արդյունաբերության հետ: Պետք է, որպեսզի ՊՆ կազմում մենք ստեղծենք կառույց, որն աշխատում է ռազմարդյունաբերության հետ և ունի դա իրականացնելու հստակ մանդատ: Այդ կառույցը նաև պետք է ունենա բյուջե: Ես պատասխանատու ասում եմ, որ թեթև անօդաչու գրոհային և հետախուզական սարքերի մասով մենք այսօր առաջ ենք, օրինակ, Ռուսաստանից: Դա նշանակում է, որ մեզ պետք չի գնալ, հերթական անգամ ռուսներից սպառազինություն խնդրել: Մերը ունենք, որը մի քանի անգամ ավելի էժան է: Պետք է մերի վրա աշխատենք»,- նշել է Չալաբյանը՝ շատ չակերտներ չբացելով։
