Սեպտեմբերի 19-ին աշխատանքային այցով Նյու Յորքում գտնվող ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարար Արարատ Միրզոյանը հանդիպում է ունեցել Բելգիայի ԱԳ նախարար Հաջա Լահբիբի հետ։

Արարատ Միրզոյանը Հաջա Լահբիբին է ներկայացրել սեպտեմբերի 13-ին Ադրբեջանի կողմից Հայաստանի ինքնիշխան տարածքի նկատմամբ սանձազերծված լայնածավալ ագրեսիայի հետևանքները` դատապարտելով ադրբեջանական զինուժի կողմից միջազգային և հումանիտար իրավունքի խախտումներն ու հայ զինծառայողների և ռազմագերիների նկատմամբ անմարդկային վերաբերմունքի դեպքերը։

Երկուստեք ընդգծվել է հրադադարի ռեժիմի պահպանման և խաղաղ բանակցությունների միջոցով խնդիրների կարգավորման կարևորությունը։

ՀՀ արտաքին քաղաքական գերատեսչության ղեկավարն առանձնահատուկ շեշտել է, որ միջազգային հանրության անհասցե կոչերը նպաստում են ադրբեջանական կողմի ագրեսիվ և առավելապաշտական վարքագծին, ինչի արդյունքում խաթարվում են տարածաշրջանում կայունության և խաղաղության հաստատման հայկական կողմի ջանքերը:

Նախարարները քննարկել են նաև հայ-բելգիական քաղաքական երկխոսության խորացման, բազմակողմ հարթակներում համագործակցության, առևտրատնտեսական և կրթամշակութային կապերի զարգացման վերաբերյալ հարցեր:
