Միացյալ Նահանգների Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի խոսնակ Նենսի Փելոսիի գլխավորած պատվիրակության այցը Հայաստան ի ցույց կդնի ԱՄՆ հանձնառությունը՝ անվտանգ, տնտեսապես բարեկեցիկ և ժողովրդավար կառավարմանը Հայաստանում և Հարավային Կովկասում։ Այս մասին ասվում է այցի վերաբերյալ Փելոսիի գրասենյակի տարածած հաղորդագրության մեջ։
Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի խոսնակը նշել է, որ ուրախ են այցելել Երևան 2019 թվականին Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչող պատմական բանաձևի ընդունումից և առաջին անգամ ԱՄՆ նախագահի կողմից Ցեղասպանության ճանաչումից հետո։ Նա ընդգծել է, որ «բոլորի բարոյական պատասխանատվությունն է՝ երբեք չմոռանալ․ պարտավորություն, որը հատկապես մեծ հրատապություն է ձեռք բերել, քանի որ կոտորածներ են իրականացվում ողջ աշխարհում, այդ թվում և Ռուսաստանի կողմից Ուկրաինայում»։

Նա ընդգծել է, որ պատվիրակության կազմում ընդգրկված դեմոկրատ գործիչներ Ֆրենք Փալոնեն, հայկական արմատներ ունեցող Աննա Էշուն, Ջեքի Սփիերը Հայաստանի շահերի համար երկար տարիներ ի վեր գործունեություն ծավալող գործիչներ են։ «Մեր պատվիրակությունն ակնկալում է ունենալ արդյունավետ հանդիպումներ, որոնք էլ ավելի կամրապնդեն Հայաստանի Հանրապետության հետ մեր գործընկերությունը և տարածաշրջանում առաջ կմղեն մեր արժեքներն ու շահերը»,- եզրափակել է Փելոսին։
