Լեոնոր Ֆինին նկարչուհի է, ում ստեղծագործությունը զգալի հետք է թողել ֆրանսիական արվեստում, հայտնում է Past.am-ը:
Նա մասնակցել է սյուրռելիստների գրեթե բոլոր խոշոր ցուցադրություններին` Սալվադոր Դալիի, Մաքս Էռնստի ու Պիկասոյի հետ: Ֆինին գրում էր, զբաղվում դիզայնով, գրքերի իլյուստրացիաներով:
Ֆինին ծնվել է Բուենոս Այրեսում, 25 տարեկան հասակում տեղափոխվել է Փարիզ, նա չի ստացել պրոֆեսիոնալ կրթություն, սկսել է նկարել բազմաթիվ կանանց: Նա իրավամբ համարվում է «թույլ սեռի» պաշտպանը, կանացի գեղեցկության ու սեքսուալության երգիչը:
Լեոնորին հաճախ համեմատում էին Դալիի հետ՝ կանացի կերպարանքով, նրա նկարները հայտնի էին ամբողջ աշխարհում: Դալին անձամբ բարձր էր գնահատում նկարչուհու աշխատանքները:
Բոլոր հանդիպումներում Լեոնորը իր վրա էր սևեռում ուշադրությունը: Նա միշտ աչքի էր ընկնում իր օրիգինալ զգեստներով, վարքագծով: Նրա լուսանկարը զարդարում էր ամբողջ ամսագրերի շապիկները:
Մինչև կյանքի վերջը՝ 1996 թվականը, Լեոնորը ապրում էր փարիզյան իր բնակարանում իր երկու սիրեկանների ու 17 պարսկական կատուների հետ, որոնց նկարիչը թույլատրում էր քնել իր հետ մեկ անկողնում ու ուտել իր հետ մեկ սեղանից:
