«Շատ ահավոր վիճակ ա, հլը մեր գյուղին չեն խփել, էրեխեքին ուղարկել եմ Երեւան, բայց մենք չենք գնացել, անասունները գոմն են, գնանք ի՞նչ անենք»,- մեզ հետ զրույցում ասաց Վարդենիս խոշորացված համայնքի սահմանամերձ Գեղամաբակ գյուղի բնակիչ պարոն Վաղինակը։
Նրա խոսքով` բնակիչները միայն երեխաներին են տարհանել գյուղից, հիմանականում տղամարդիկ են մնացել` տեր կանգնելու իրենց ապրուստին։
Գյուղում այս պահին էլ լսվում են կրակոցի ձայներ. «Բա մեր մոտից են խփում էլի։ Երեք գյուղ ավիրել են` Զոդը, Կութն ու Նորաբակը։ Մենք չենք թողնի, գնանք, մեր տղերքի մեջքը մենք ենք, թիկունքում ենք։ Ժողովուրդը հավաքված ա գյուղի կենտրոնում, գյուղի վրա չի ընկնում, բայց ընկնում ա ձորում։ Հենց հիմա խփում են իրար, ուժեղ մարտեր ա, հլը սենց մարտ չի եղել»։
Նշենք, որ Փաշինյանը ԱԺ-ում հայտարարեց, որ հայկական կողմն ունի 49 զոհ, բայց դա դեռ նախնական է, տարածքային կորուստների մասին դեռեւս տեղեկություն չկա։
