Թուրքիայի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Մևլութ Չավուշօղլուն Հունաստանին նախազգուշացրել է «ուրիշների հաշվին արկածախնդրության» հետևանքների մասին, գրում է Anadolu գործակալությունը:
«Աթենքն իրեն անհանգիստ է պահում: Նրանք, ովքեր առաջնորդվում են արտաքին ուժերի կողմից, դատապարտված են քաղելու իրենց գործողությունների հետևանքները։ Իմ խոսքերը բաց նախազգուշացում են Հունաստանին»,- ասել է Չավուշօղլուն՝ ելույթ ունենալով Անկարայում։
ՆԱՏՕ-ի դաշնակիցներ Հունաստանն ու Թուրքիան տարածքային վեճերի պատճառով բազմիցս հայտնվել են զինված հակամարտության եզրին: Լարվածության նոր փուլը սկսվել է օգոստոսի 23-ին, երբ, ըստ Թուրքիայի պաշտպանության նախարարության, Հունաստանը ՆԱՏՕ-ի առաքելության ժամանակ ռուսական արտադրության С-300 հակաօդային պաշտպանության համակարգեր է տեղակայել՝ թիրախավորելու թուրքական F-16-ները։ Հունաստանը հերքում է դա։
Վերջին օրերին երկու երկրների միջև հռետորաբանությունը կտրուկ սրվել է։ Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանն ավելի վաղ հայտարարել էր, որ Հունաստանը սպառնում է Թուրքիային S-300 հակաօդային պաշտպանության համակարգերով և «ծանր գին» կվճարի, եթե այն «առաջ գնա»։
Թուրքիայի ազգային պաշտպանության նախարար Հուլուսի Աքարը հայտարարել է, որ Անկարան ՆԱՏՕ-ից օբյեկտիվություն է ակնկալում Հունաստանի կողմից թուրքական օդանավերի հետապնդման համար C-300-ների օգտագործման հետ կապված։ Նրա խոսքով՝ Հունաստանն անտեսում է միջազգային իրավունքը, բարիդրացիական հարաբերություններն ու բարեկամությունը։ Հունաստանի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Նիկոս Դենդիասը նամակներ է հղել Եվրոպական դիվանագիտության ղեկավար Ժոզեպ Բորելին և ՆԱՏՕ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Ենս Ստոլտենբերգին՝ Թուրքիայի հետ լուրջ հակամարտության սպառնալիքի հարցով՝ կապված թուրք քաղաքական գործիչների սադրիչ հայտարարությունների հետ։
