Մենք գիտենք նրանց իրական մտադրությունները, ովքեր, օգտագործելով Հունաստանը, ինչպես դա արեցին մեկ դար առաջ, փորձում են վատնել մեր ժամանակն ու էներգիան։ Հունաստանը մեր մրցակիցը չէ՝ ոչ քաղաքական, ոչ տնտեսական, ոչ ռազմական առումով։ Այս մասին հայտարարել է Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը, փոխանցում է Անատոլիական գործակալությունը։
Նա նաեւ նշել է, որ Հունաստանի սադրիչ գործողություններն անընդունելի են։ «Հունաստանը մարտահրավեր է նետել ՆԱՏՕ-ին եւ նրա դաշնակիցներին, որոնք սկսվել են մեր օդային տարածքի խախտմամբ եւ շարունակվել են մեր ինքնաթիռների «Ս-300» ռադիոլոկացիոն որսմամբ»:
Թուրքական պետության ղեկավարն անդրադարձել է F-35 մարտական ինքնաթիռների մատակարարման հարցին.
«Հունաստանին F35-ներ առաջարկելով, որոնք մեզ չտվեցին, Ամերիկան ճանապարհ բացեց ռուսական հակաօդային պաշտպանության համակարգերի համար, քանի որ դրանք այդ ինքնաթիռների հետ նույն համակարգում հայտնվեցին։ Մեր գնած հակաօդային պաշտպանության համակարգերի պատճառով մեզ F-35-ներ չտվեցին։ Բայց մեզ համար միեւնույն է: Մենք ունենք ցանկացած պրոդուկտ արտադրելու հնարավորություն, որի հարցում մեզ մերժում են»:
Նախագահ Էրդողանն իր ելույթը եզրափակել է հետեւյալ խոսքերով. «2023 թվականը՝ մեր Հանրապետության 100-ամյակը, մենք նոր բեկման սկիզբ կդարձնենք, որը մեր Հանրապետության երկրորդ հարյուրամյակը Թուրքիայի 100-ամյակի կվերածի։ 2053-ի նպատակներով, որոնց իրականացումն արդեն սկսվել է, մենք նպատակ ունենք մեր երկիրը համաշխարհային լիգայի առաջին հորիզոնական հասցնել: Դա այն է, ինչը հարիր է մեր Հանրապետության 100-ամյակին»։
