Oգոստոսի 30-ին, հերթական սպանությունն է տեղի ունեցել Կոտայքի մարզում: Ժամը 08:45-ի սահմաններում ՀՀ ոստիկանության օպերատիվ կառավարման կենտրոն ահազանգ է ստացվել, որ Բալահովիտ գյուղում մի տղամարդ դանակը ձեռքին հարձակվել է մարդկանց վրա և կան տուժածներ։
Ինչպես տեղեկացնում է shamshyan.com-ը, մինչ ոստիկաններն ու քննիչները կժամանեին դեպքի վայր, «Աբովյան» բժշկական կենտրոնից ահազանգ է ստացվել, որ ժամը 09:40-ի սահմաններում մահացած վիճակում իրենց մոտ է տեղափոխվել մի քաղաքացի, իսկ մեկ հոգի էլ տեղափոխվել է դանակահարված վիճակում:
Ոստիկաններն ու քննիչները պարզել են, որ մահացածը Սյունիքի մարզի բնակիչ, 34-ամյա Սոս Գևորգյանն էր, իսկ վիրավորը, ով հիվանդանոց է տեղափոխվել «ձախից գոտկային շրջանից կտրած-ծակած վերք» ախտորոշմամբ, Հրազդան քաղաքի բնակիչ, 32-ամյա Արթուր Մանուկյանն է:
Ոստիկաններն ու քննիչները պարզել են, որ մահացածն ու վիրավորը դանակահարվել են Բալահովիտ գյուղի 8-րդ փողոցի 1-ին նրբանցքի 1-ին հասցեում գործող «Հիդրոշինարար 5» բաց բաժնետիրական ընկերության շինարարական կազմակերպության տարածքում:
Նշված սպանությունը կատարելու և մարմնական վնասվածքներ պատճառելու կասկածանքով որոնվում է Արզական գյուղի բնակիչ, 46-ամյա Զորիկ Մելքոնյանը:
Գ. Շամշյանի տեղեկություններով՝ Զ. Մելքոնյանը օգոստոսի 27-ին Արզական գյուղում սպանել էր իր կնոջը, ապա դանակի բազմաթիվ հարվածներ հասցրել իր հարևաններին ու դիմել փախուստի:
