ԱՄՆ նախկին նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը կոչ է արել անհապաղ 2020 թվականի նախագահական ընտրությունները ճանաչել կեղծված և նոր ընտրություններ անցկացնել։ Այս մասին նա գրել է իր Truth Social սոցիալական ցանցում։
«Այժմ պարզ է, որ ՀԴԲ-ն ընտրություններից առաջ թաղել է Հանթեր Բայդենի նոութբուքի հետ կապված պատմությունը, քանի որ նրանք գիտեին, որ եթե դա չանեին, Թրամփը հեշտությամբ կհաղթեր 2020 թվականի նախագահական ընտրություններում:Սա ահռելի կեղծիք է և մեր երկրում չտեսնված մակարդակով միջամտություն ընտրություններին։ Լուծումը իրական հաղթողին հայտարարելն է, կամ գոնե 2020 թվականի ընտրություններն անշրջելիորեն զիջված հայտարարելն ու նոր ընտրություններ անցկացնելն է»,- գրել է նա։
Ավելի վաղ ամերիկյան լրատվամիջոցները բազմիցս տվյալներ են հրապարակել նոութբուքից, որը պատկանել է ԱՄՆ գործող նախագահ Ջո Բայդենի որդուն։ Ներկայացված նամակագրությունից, որը վարել է Հանթեր Բայդենը, մասնավորապես, հետևել է, որ նա կարող է կազմակերպած լինել ուկրաինական Burisma Holdings էներգետիկ ընկերության ներկայացուցչի, որի խորհրդի անդամ է եղել ժամանակին, հանդիպում հոր հետ այն ժամանակ, երբ վերջինս եղել է ԱՄՆ փոխնախագահ։ Բայդեն ավագը կոչ է արել պաշտոնանկ անել Ուկրաինայի գլխավոր դատախազ Վիկտոր Շոկինին, որը հետաքննություն է սկսել Burisma Holdings-ի նկատմամբ։ Ամերիկյան մեկ այլ թերթ՝ The Washington Post-ը մարտին հայտնել էր, որ Հանթեր Բայդենը, իբր, ստացել է գրեթե 5 միլիոն դոլար չինական CEFC էներգետիկ ընկերությունից:Այնուամենայնիվ, ըստ The Washington Times-ի, որը վկայակոչում է Այովա նահանգի հանրապետական սենատոր Չակ Գրասլիի նամակներից հատվածները՝ ուղղված ԱՄՆ գլխավոր դատախազ Մերիկ Գարլենդին և ՀԴԲ տնօրեն Քրիստոֆեր Ռեյին, ՀԴԲ-ն 2020 թվականին այդ նյութերը որակել է որպես «ապատեղեկատվություն» և դադարեցրել հետաքննությունը նախագահի որդու դեմ։
