Իրաքի բանակի հրամանատարությունը երկուշաբթի պարետային ժամ է հայտարարել ամբողջ երկրում այն բանից հետո, երբ ցուցարարները գրավել են Բաղդադում կառավարության շենքը, հաղորդում է NBC News-ը:
«Իրաքի զինվորականները պարետային ժամ են հայտարարել երկրի բոլոր նահանգներում երկուշաբթի երեկոյան ժամը 19:00-ից (Երևանի ժամանակով 20:00)՝ լարվածությունը թուլացնելու և հնարավոր բախումները կանխելու հույսով»,- ասվումէ հաղորդագրությունում։
Երկուշաբթի Բաղդադի Կանաչ գոտում բախումների հետևանքով սպանվել է իրաքցի շիա հոգևորական Մուկթադա աս-Սադրի ութ կողմնակից, ևս 85-ը վիրավորվել է, AFP-ին հայտնել են բժիշկները:
Ավելի վաղ հարյուրավոր մարդիկ ներխուժել էին Հանրապետության պալատ՝ իրաքցի քաղաքական գործիչների՝ օտարերկրյա գործընկերների հետ հանդիպման հիմնական վայրը։
Ազդեցիկ շիա հոգևորական Մուկթադա աս-Սադրը երկուշաբթի հայտարարել էր քաղաքականությունից հեռանալու մասին, մինչդեռ նրա կողմնակիցները շաբաթներ շարունակ բողոքում են Իրանի կաջակցությունը վայելող «Համակարգող կառույց» դաշինքի կողմից վարչապետի պաշտոնում Մուհամմեդ ալ-Սուդանիի առաջադրման դեմ:
Չնայած վերջին խորհրդարանական ընտրություններում «Սադր» դաշինքը ստացել է ամենաշատ մանդատները, սակայն չի կարողացել կառավարություն ձևավորել:
Հուլիսի վերջին Բաղդադում վերսկսվել են Մուկթադա աս-Սադրի կողմնակիցների բողոքի ցույցերը։ Ցուցարարները ներխուժել են խորհրդարանի շենք և ասել, որ չեն պատրաստվում լքել այն։ Օգոստոսին ալ-Սադրը երկրի դատական համակարգին կոչ էր արել ցրել խորհրդարանը, իսկ երկրի նախագահին՝ նշանակել օրենսդիր մարմնի արտահերթ ընտրությունների օրը: Սակայն Իրաքի Բարձրագույն դատական խորհուրդը մերժել է։
Իրաքը քաղաքական ճգնաժամի մեջ է. դեռևս 2021 թվականի հոկտեմբերին կայացած խորհրդարանական ընտրություններից հետո երկրի քաղաքական ուժերը չեն կարողացել ընտրել նոր նախագահ և կառավարություն ձևավորել։
