Այսօր լրանում է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Անկախության հռչակագրի ընդունման տարեդարձը, և 32 տարի անց մեր հասած հանգրվանը հակասական է։

«ԱՐԱՐ» հիմնադրամի համահիմնադիր, հասարակական-քաղաքական գործիչ Ավետիք Չալաբյանն է բանտից ուղերձ հղել, ցավով նկատելով, որ մի կողմից, առերևույթ մենք ունենք անկախ պետականություն, մյուս կողմից՝ նրա իրական ինքնիշխանությունը սահմանափակ է և շարունակում է նվազել։

Ըստ Չալաբյանի՝ մի կողմից մեր երկիրը արտաքուստ զարգանում է, մյուս կողմից, նրա բնակչությունը շարունակում է անկասելիորեն նվազել, և այն ոչ միայն դարձել է հայության հավաքական ազգային հանգրվանը, այլև մեր աչքերի առաջ շարունակում է կորցնել իր ազգային դիմագիծը։

«Մենք իրականում գտնվում ենք այսօր մեր պատմության ճակատագրական երկընտրանքի առջև։ Մենք այսօր կա՛մ պետք է նոր շունչ ու իմաստ հաղորդենք մեր անկախ պետականության տեսլականի, կա՛մ պետք է համակերպվենք այն մռայլ գիտակցության հետ, որ ամեն անցած տարին շարունակելու է նվազեցնել մեր ինքնիշխանությունը, մինչև մենք վերադառնանք այն ստորադրյալ կարգավիճակին, որում ապրել էինք դարերով։ Մենք կա՛մ պետք է արժևորենք պատմական հայրենիքի այս վերջին հատվածում ազգային պետության բարձրագույն առաքելությունը, և պատրաստ լինենք անձնական զոհողությունների՝ այն նյութականացնելու համար, և կա՛մ էլ համակերպվենք, որ մեր ազգային առաքելությունը սպառված է, և հեռանանք օտար ափեր՝ անձնական անվտանգության և բարեկեցության փշրանքներ ձեռք բերելու հույսով»,- նշել է Չալաբյանը։

Հասարակական-քաղաքական գործիչը նկատել է, թե մեզնից յուրաքանչյուրն այսօր ճակատագրական ընտրության առաջ է կանգնած, և այն բնավ հեշտ չի։

Այսօր պաթետիկ ուղերձների պակաս չի լինելու, իշխանավորները իրար հերթ չտալով ներբողներ են ձոնելու հռչակագրին՝ թեթևակի հիշատակելով իրենց իսկ մեղքով Հայաստանին բաժին հասած դժվարությունները, և քչերն են, որ փաստում են իրականությունը, նաև ուղիներ նախանշում՝ ստեղծված իրավիճակից դուրս գալու։
