«ԱՐԱՐ» հիմնադրամի համահիմնադիր, հասարակական-քաղաքական գործիչ Ավետիք Չալաբյանի գործի քննությունը մեծ հեռանկարներ ունի Մարդու իրավունքների եվրոպական դատարանում։ Ռուսաստանցի հայտնի իրավաբան Տնտեսագիտության բարձրագույն դպրոցի ամբիոնի վարիչ Վիկտոր Միխայլովն է այս արձանագրումն արել՝ ընդամենը մեկ անգամ ներկա գտնվելով Չալաբյանի գործով դատաքննությանը։
 
Միխայլովը հայաստանյան դատարաններում դրական բան էլ է նկատել՝ կարգադրիչներն առանց հատուկ միջոցների և բարեհամբույր էին, դատարան կարելի էր ավելի հեշտ մուտք գործել, քան Ռուսաստանում, դահլիճը տեղավորում էր բոլոր այցելուներին։ Բայց դրականն այսքանով ավարտվում է։
 
«Իմ վատթարագույն մտավախություններն իրականացան։ Քննչական բոլոր գործողություններն ավարտվել են, Չալաբյանն էլ չի կարող ազդել վկաների վրա, ազատության մի քանի օրվա ընթացքում թաքնվելու որևէ քայլ չի կատարել, սակայն դատարանը կրկին կալանավորում է նրան»,- նշել է Միխայլովը և հավելել, թե այս ամենը հիմք է տալիս կասկածել գործի քաղաքական ենթատեքստի մասին։
 
«Ցավոք, ներկա իշխանությունը նախկինի պես իրեն թույլ է տալիս ազդեցության ռեպրեսիվ մեխանիզմներ կիրառել քաղաքական ընդդիմախոսների նկատմամբ»,- նշում է Միխայլովը։
 
Ռուսաստանցի իրավաբանը հատկապես զարմացած էր դատավորի (Մնացական Մարտիրոսյանի) կերպարից։
 
«Ինձ ասացին, որ ամենահին դատավորներից է, ով սպասարկել է ժամանակակից Հայաստանի բոլոր քաղաքական վարչախմբերին, անգամ վճիռ է կայացրել Փաշինյանի նկատմամբ։ Չափազանց խորհրդանշական է»,- գրել է Վիկտոր Միխայլովը։
 
Թերևս սա առաջին դեպքը չէ, երբ արտերկրում անուն և հեղինակություն ունեցող իրավաբաններն արձանագրում են Ավետիք Չալաբյանի նկատմամբ իրականացվող բռնաճնշումները, դրանց ապօրինի լինելու հանգամանքը։ Հույս էլ չենք փայփայում, որ հայաստանյան «արդարադատությունը» ականջալուր կլինի Միխայլովի զգուշացումներին։ Փաշինյանական վարչախումբը վաղուց ապացուցել է, որ ՄԻԵԴ-ի որևէ հնարավոր վճիռ իրեն հետ չի պահելու ընդդիմախոսներին հալածելու, ազատազրկելու արատավոր պրակտիկայից։
