Վերջին շրջանում հայ-իրանական պետական սահմանի հատվածում ստեղծվել է լարված օպերատիվ իրավիճակ, որը պայմանավորված է Իրանից Հայաստան թմրամիջոցների և հոգեներգործուն նյութերի (հաշիշ, մեթամֆետամին, հերոին) ապօրինի տեղափոխման փորձերի ավելացմամբ:
Այս մասին 1lurer.am-ին հայտնել են Հայաստանում Ռուսաստանի անվտանգության դաշնային ծառայության սահմանապահ վարչությունից։
Նշվում է, որ բացի այդ՝ արձանագրվում են ծայրահեղական և ահաբեկչական կազմակերպությունների ներկայացուցիչների կողմից Հայաստանի պետական սահմանի խախտման դեպքեր։ 2021 թ․ Մեղրիի սահմանապահ ջոկատի հատվածում ռուս սահմանապահները ձերբակալել են երկու զինյալների՝ զենքով, նռնականետներով և մեծ քանակությամբ զինամթերքով, որոնք ապօրինի կերպով մուտք էին գործել Իրանից:
«Հայաստանի Հանրապետության անվտանգության ապահովման նպատակով, «Պետական սահմանի մասին» ՀՀ օրենքի համաձայն, Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Կառավարության, Ազգային անվտանգության ծառայության և այլ իրավասու մարմինների հետ համաձայնեցմամբ՝ ընթացիկ տարվա սկզբից կազմավորվել են սահմանային հսկողության ծառայության իրականացման մի շարք կահավորված դիրքեր՝ ընտրողական (իսկ սահմանախախտների որոնման և հետապնդման դեպքում՝ առանց բացառության) միջոցառումներ իրականացնելու անձանց և տրանսպորտային միջոցների նկատմամբ՝ մաքսանենգության, անօրինական միգրացիայի և այլ իրավախախտումների փաստերի հայտնաբերման, կանխման և խափանման նպատակով: Սահմանային գոտում տեղաշարժ իրականացնող քաղաքացիներին խնդրում ենք ըմբռնումով մոտենալ իրավապահ մարմինների օրինական պահանջներին»,- նշել են Հայաստանում Ռուսաստանի ԱԴԾ սահմանապահ վարչությունից։
Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում Ռուսաստանի ԱԴԾ սահմանապահ վարչությունը Թուրքիայի Հանրապետության և Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետության հետ Հայաստանի պետական սահմանի պաշտպանությունն իրականացնում է «Հայաստանի Հանրապետության տարածքում տեղակայված Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության սահմանապահ զորքերի կարգավիճակի և դրանց գործունեության պայմանների մասին» միջպետական պայմանագրի հիման վրա, որը ստորագրվել է երկու երկրների միջև 1992 թվականին:
