Գյումրու քաղաքապետը հուսով է, որ 2016թ-ը հանրապետության երկրորդ քաղաքի համար վերելքի տարի կլինի:
Դեկտեմբերի 29-ին Գյումրու քաղաքապետարանում ամփոփել են անցնող 2015 թվականը: «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ Գյումրու քաղաքապետ Սամվել Բալասանյանը, շնորհավորելով ներկաներին գալիք Ամանորի առթիվ, հույս հայտնեց, որ այն կլինի միայն հաջողությունների ու նորանոր ձեռքբերումների տարի: «2015 թվականի հունվարի 12-ին ողբերգական դեպքով սկսեցինք տարին և ողջ տարվա ընթացքում այդ ցավը մեզ հետ էր: Մենք շատ դժվարություններ ենք հաղթահարել: Թեև անելիքներ կան՝ դեռ տնակներ ունենք, բայց հուսով եմ կկարողանանք վերականգնել Գյում րին: Ամենակարևորը քաղաքի տրամադրությունն ու բարոյահոգեբանական մթնոլորտը վերականգնելն է: Մարդը պետք է հույս ու վստահություն ունենա, որ հպարտանա, որ ապրում ու աշխատում է այս պատմական քաղաքում՝ մենք հասնելու ենք սրան: Ես համոզված եմ, արդեն մեծ վստահություն կա քաղաքապետարանի, ավագանու նկատմամբ, քանի որ մենք անում ենք ամեն ինչ, որ հասարակությունը մեզ վստահի»,-նշեց Գյումրու քաղաքապետ Սամվել Բալասանյանը՝ ավելացնելով, որ քաղաքապետարանին հաջողվել է սեփական եկամուտների հավաքագրման ամենաբարձր՝ 100 տոկոսի ցուցանիշ ապահովվել, ինչը միայն վստահության հետևանք է: Սամվել Բալասանյանը նաև ուրախությամբ փաստեց, որ Գյումրին 2016 թվականին հայտարարված է Երիտասարդական մայրաքաղաք և պատվով կտանի այդ կոչումը:
Տարեվերջյան հանդիպման ընթացքում քաղաքապետը հուշանվերներ հանձնեց քաղաքապետարանի ենթակայության տարբեր կառույցների ու ոլորտների ներկայացուցիչներին, արհեստավորներին ու մշակույթի գործիչներին:
Ավելեցնենք, որ ինչպես ավագանու վերջին նիստի ժամանակ նշել էր քաղաքապետը՝ ավելորդ ծախսերից խուսափելու և այդ գումարը ավելի նպատակային ՝ անօթևան մեկ ընտանիքի բնակարանի ձեռքբերման նպատակով հիմնադրված «Գյումրին առաց տնակներին» հիմնադրամին փոխանցելու համար, «ռեստորանային տաշի-տուշին» փոխարինվել էր ավելի «զուսպ» տարբերակով՝ քաղաքապետարանում՝ ֆուրշետի տեսքով:
