Վրաստանի վարչապետի պաշտոնի թեկնածու Գեորգի Կվիրիկաշվիլին դեկտեմբերի 29-ին, ելույթ ունենալով օրենսդիր մարմնում, հայտարարել է, որ Քութայիսում խորհրդարանի շենքի գտնվելն անհարմարություններ Է ստեղծում կառավարության համար, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:
2012 թվականի խորհրդարանական ընտրությունների արդյունքում տեղի ունեցած իշխանափոխությունից հետո «Վրացական երազանք» կոալիցիայից իշխող կուսակցության ներկայացուցիչները քանիցս արծարծել են Վրաստանի բարձրագույն օրենսդիր մարմինը մայրաքաղաք վերադարձնելու հարցը: 2014 թվականին կոմիտեների լսումները տեղափոխվել են Թբիլիսի:
«Քութայիսում խորհրդարանի գտնվելն անհարմարություններ Է ստեղծում Վրաստանի կառավարության համար, որը հարկադրված Է Թբիլիսիից ուղեւորվել Քութայիս: Լավագույնս հաղորդակցվելու համար, կառավարության կարծիքով, ավելի լավ կլիներ, որը խորհրդարանը գտնվեր Թբիլիսիում, բայց ես հարգում եմ սահմանադրական մեծամասնության կարծիքը, ինչպիսին Էլ որ այն լինի»,-ասել Է Կվիրիկաշվիլին, հաղորդել Է Sputnik-ը:
