Երեկվանից ֆեյսբուքյան օգտատերերի շրջանում մի նամակ է շրջանառվում, որը գրել է Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի մտերիմ ընկեր Վահե Վարսանյանը։ Այդ նամակում նա հայտնում է, թե տեղեկացել է, որ Արա Չալաբյանին, ով Կենտրոնական բանկի կորպորատիվ ծառայությունների դեպարտամենտի ղեկավարն է, կանչել են ԿԲ նախագահ Մարտին Գալստյանի մոտ, ասել, թե աշխատանքից ազատման մասին դիմում գրի, այլապես աշխատանքից ազատվելու դիմում պետք է գրի ինքը՝ Մարտին Գալստյանը.
 
«Հաշվի առնելով Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի հետ վաղեմի մոտ հարաբերությունները, նույն օրն էլ դրա մասին գրեցի նրան՝ ակնկալելով պատասխան: Մամուլում ևս եղել էին այս թեմայով հրապարակումներ, սակայն հերքում չէր եղել: Մինչև չորեքշաբթի որևէ պատասխան չստանալով՝ այսօր զանգահարեցի նրան: «Նամակը կարդացել եմ: Բեր էդ հարցը չքննարկենք»,- պատասխանեց Փաշինյանը: «Բա եթե էս հարցը չքննարկենք, ուրիշ ի՞նչ հարց քննարկենք: Սենց  չեղավ, դրա համար չէինք 18 թվին իշխանություն փոխում»: Նա շարունակում էր նույն բանը՝ «Բեր էս հարցը չքննարկենք, բեր էս հարցը չքննարկենք»: Փաստորեն, չեղած տեղը, Ավետիք Չալաբյանի նկատմամբ անազնիվ  ձևով գործ սարքեցին, բավական չէ, հիմա էլ ընկել են եղբոր հետևից»,- ասվում է նամակի մեջ:

Իրավապաշտպան, ՀՀ ԱԺ նախկին պատգամավոր Լարիսա Ալավերդյանի խոսքով՝ մենք ունենք ուղղակի ցինիկ վերաբերմունք իշխանավորների կողմից՝  պետական իշխանության հանդեպ.

«Սա շատ կարևոր է, որովհետև մենք խնդիր ունենք լավ իշխանություն ունենալու, իսկ այսօրվա իշխանությունները պարզապես ցինիկ վերաբերմունք են ցուցաբերում, և այդ առումով քաղաքական հետապնդումները, ես բազմիցս եմ ասել, ավելի սաստկանալու են: դա ունի հիմք. ամենաթողության կամ, այսպես ասած, «քարտ բլանշ» ստացած այս իշխանությունները երկու մասից բաղկացած մեկ նպատակի համար են բերվել և մնում են: Այն է՝ Արցախը ամբողջովին բռնակցել Ադրբեջանին, իսկ Հայաստանը դարձնել Թուրքիայի կցորդ:

Այս առումով, քաղաքականությունն ամբողջովին՝ ամենատարբեր շերտերով, մակարդակներով, բավականին ակնհայտ կերպով, գնում է հակառուսական տրամադրություններ տարածելով: Եվ կրկնում եմ՝ այդ ցինիկ վերաբերունքը հասարակության մեջ ամիջապես ծնում է մերժողականություն՝ լինի մարդու իրավունքների, թե իրավունքի հանդեպ ընդհանրապես»,- 1or.am -ի հետ զրույցում ասաց Ալավերդյանը: 

Իրավապաշտպանի խոսքով՝ մարդկանց մեջ արդեն չկա այն հույսը, որ կարելի է իրավական ճանապարհով, օրենքի գերակայությամբ, օրենքի առջև բոլորի հավասարության սկզբունքի ներքո որևէ բանի հասնել.

«Արդարության համար պետք է ասեմ, որ այնպես չէ, որ նախկինում իրավական նորմերն ամբողջովին գործում էին, բայց այսքան ակնհայտորեն ոչ թե ոտնահարում են մարդու իրավունքները, այլ հակադրվում են մարդու իրավունքների միջազգային նորմերին: Սա արդեն աննախադեպ վատ նորություն է, և մենք արդեն երեք տարոուց ավելի է՝ գտնվում ենք այդ դաշտում»:
