Սիրիական բանակը զրահատեխնիկա և զինվորականներ է ուղարկել երկրի հյուսիսային նահանգներ՝ Ռաքքայի և Հալեպի ուղղությամբ թուրքական զորքերի և թուրքամետ զինյալների հարձակումները հետ մղելու համար։

Պարբերականի տեղեկատվության համաձայն՝ «պաշտպանական սահմանների ամրապնդման մասին որոշումն ընդունվել է թուրքական օկուպացիոն ուժերից և ահաբեկիչ վարձկաններից խաղաղ բնակչությանը պաշտպանելու համար»: Ռազմական աղբյուրի հայտարարության մեջ նշվում է, որ կառավարական ուժերը դիրքավորվել են Այն-Իսա և այն Էլ-Արաբ քաղաքների մերձակայքում՝ սահմանային գոտու մերձակայքում:
Գործակալությունը նշում է, որ Asharq Al-Awsat պարներականի տվյալներով՝ Սիրիայի զինված ուժերի հրամանատարությունը 250 զինվոր և հինգ միավոր զրահատեխնիկա է ուղարկել, ինչպես նաև ծանր զենքեր՝ 2019 թվականին Թուրքիայի կողմից ստեղծված անվտանգության գոտու մերձակա բաժանման գծի վրա:
Պարբերականի տեղեկություններով՝ Այն էլ Արաբ շրջանում՝ Հալեպի գավառական կենտրոնից 150 կմ հյուսիս-արևելք, սիրիական զորքերը դիրքեր են գրավել Սիրին ռազմական օդանավակայանում: Ինչպես նշում է հրատարակությունը, ևս 300 սիրիացի զինվոր և վեց տանկ ուղղաթիռների աջակցությամբ ուղարկվել են Մանբիջ (Հալեպից 70 կիլոմետր հեռավորության վրա):
Դրանք տեղակայված են Սաջուր գետի արևելյան ափին՝ թուրքական զորքերի և սիրիական ընդդիմության զինված կազմավորումների դիմաց։ Ավելի վաղ զրահատեխնիկան և զինվորներին տեղափոխող բեռնատարները ժամանել էին Թել Ռիֆաատ, Հալեպից 42 կմ հյուսիս և Մենեգայի սիրիական ռազմաօդային ուժերի ավիաբազա: Տեղի արաբա-քրդական ջոկատների հրամանատար Մուսթաֆա Աբու Ադելը Asharq Al-Awsat-ին հայտարարել է, որ քրդերի և Դամասկոսի միջև ռազմական օգնության համաձայնություն է ձեռք բերվել:
Հիշեցնենք, որ ավելի վաղ Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը հայտարարել էր, որ Անկարան մտադիր է ավարտել իր հարավային սահմանների մոտ 30 կմ խորությամբ անվտանգության գոտու ստեղծման գործընթացը:
