Թուրքիան և Ադրբեջանը մեծ թափով լծվել են սեփական երկրներում արևային էլեկտրակայաններ կառուցելու գործին։ Նույնիսկ նավթային խոշոր ռեսուրսներ ունենալու պարագայում Ադրբեջանը չի խորշում սեփական երկրում ահռելի ծախսեր անելու արևային էներգիա արտադրելու հարցում։ Մասնավորապես, դեռևս այս տարվա մարտին Ադրբեջանում կայացավ 230 ՄՎտ հզորությամբ արևային էլեկտրակայանի հիմնարկեքի արարողությունը։

Կայանը կառուցելու է Արաբական Միացյալ Էմիրությունների «Մասդար» ընկերությունը։ Ադրբեջանը արաբական երկրներից բազմաթիվ ներդրողների է հրավիրում իր երկիր՝ արևային էներգիայի կայաններ կառուցելու համար։ Իսկ երկրում գործում է վերականգնվող էներգիայի պետական գործակալություն, որը զբաղվում է Ադրբեջանի տարածքի ուսումնասիրմամբ և համապատասխան վայրերում էլեկտրակայաններ կառուցելու գործով։ Մասնավորապես գովազդային արշավներում նշում են, թե Ադրբեջանում արևային օրերը շատ ավելին են, քան այլ երկրներում, և արևային էներգիան մեծ եկամուտներ կարող է բերել։

Ոչ պակաս գործունեություն է այդ ուղղությամբ ծավալում նաև Թուրքիան։ Միայն անցած տարվա ընթացքում արևային էներգիայի բաժինը ընդհանուր արտադրության մեջ հասել է մինչև 7.5 տոկոսի և դա էլ այն պայմաններում, որ այդ երկրում մի քանի ատոմակայաններ են գործում, մի քանիսն էլ կառուցվում են։ Թուրքիան անցած տարի հայտարարել է արևային էներգիայի ոլորտում 1 տրիլիոն դոլար ներդնելու մասին։

Արևային էներգիան օգտագործելու պետական քաղաքականություն են որդեգրել նաև Վրաստանն ու Իրանը։

Հայաստանն այս առումով բավական հետ է գտնվում իր բոլոր հարևաններից։ Թեև անընդհատ հռչակվում է արևային էներգիան օգտագործելու մտադրության մասին, սակայն Հայաստանում ընդամենը մեկ ընկերություն կա, որը զբաղվում է արևային պանելների արտադրությամբ՝ «Սոլարոն» ընկերությունը, որի ծավալները դեռ բավարար չեն ամբողջ երկրին էներգիայի զգալի մասն ապահովելու համար։

Ընդ որում Հայաստանն Ադրբեջանից ոչ պակաս, եթե ոչ ավելի արևոտ է, և արևի էներգիան կարող են օգտագործել Հայաստանում էներգիայի արտադրության համար, առավել ևս, որ հայկական մի շարք հիդրոէլեկտրակայաններ մնացել են Ադրբեջանի կողմից զավթված տարածքներում։ Այս պայմաններում օրախնդիր և օրհասական է դառնում Հայաստանում արևային էներգիայի օգտագործող կայանների կառուցման անհրաժեշտությունը։ Պետությունն ինքը պետք է գումարներ ներդնի «Սոլարոն»-ին և այլ ընկերություններին Հայաստանում արտոնություններ տրամադրելու, արևային կայանների արտադրությունը ավելացնելու ուղղությամբ։
