«Անցնող տարին, հարկավ, հարուստ էր շրջադարձերով ու վայրիվերումներով, ամենաբազմազան իրադարձություններով: Տարին, օրինակ, առանձնացավ նախորդների համեմատ խիստ բերքառատությամբ, սակայն արի ու տես, որ առատ բերքը իր հերթին նոր գլխացավանքների առիթ դարձավ:

Եթե նայենք մարզական անցուդարձին, ապա հայ ֆուտբոլասերների համար գլխացավի առիթ դարձավ մեր հավաքականի անփառունակ տապալումը Եվրո-2016-ի ընտրական մրցաշարում:

Ներքաղաքական տարեվերջյան զարգացումների շարքում ամենակարևորն էլ, իհարկե, սահմանադրության փոփոխությունների հանրաքվեն էր։

Տարվա վերջին մոտ՝ նոյեմբերի 25-ին, հանրությանը մի ցնցում էլ էր սպասում. Ազգային անվտանգության ծառայությունն ու իրավապահ մարմինները վնասազերծեցին զինված մի խումբ, որը մի շարք ահաբեկչական գործողություններ էր ծրագրել Երևանում ու Հայաստանի այլ քաղաքներում, ընդհուպ հեղաշրջում իրականացնելու հաշվարկով: Բայց այս գործով կարծես դեռ «ցնցումներ» էլի են լինելու:

 Անցնող տարին առանձնացավ նաև սահմանագոտում հակառակորդի կողմից լարվածության շարունակական աճին նպատակաուղղված նախահարձակ գործողություններով, հրետանային ավելի ու ավելի «լուրջ» զինատեսակների, զրահատեխնիկայի գործադրմամբ: Եվ չնայած ադրբեջանական կողմի այդ արկածախնդրական դրսևորումներին, Հայոց բանակի մեր տղաները բոլոր դեպքերում, բառի բուն իմաստով՝ անձնազոհաբար հակադարձեցին ու «տեղը դրեցին» թշնամուն:

Տարվա մարդու մասին: Եթե հետադարձ հայացք նետենք անցնող տարվա հիմնական իրադարձություններին, ապա չգիտենք, թե ովքեր՝ ինչպես, բայց մեր համոզմամբ Հայաստանի «Տարվա մարդը» անկասկած ու միարժեքորեն ՀԱՅ ԶԻՆՎՈՐՆ է: Դժվար սոցիալ-տնտեսական իրավիճակում ու պայմաններում մեծացած, դաստիարակված և այժմ զենքը ձեռքին սեփական հայրենիքը և տունը պաշտպանող Հայ Զինվորը, առանց որի նվիրման, ինչ խոսք, բոլորովին այլ կլինեին մեր և մեր պետության վիճակն ու դիրքը աշխարհում»,-գրում է թերթը:
