Սևերոդոնեցկի գրավումից հետո ռուսական բանակի հաջորդ թիրախը Լիսիչանսկն է: Այն Լուգանսկի մարզի վերջին խոշոր քաղաքն է, որի գրավումից հետո Լուգանսկը, ըստ էության, ամբողջովին կանցնի ռուսական վերահսկողության տակ։

Ռուսական ՏԱՍՍ գործակալության աղբյուրը հայտնել է, որ Լուգանսկի Ժողովրդական Հանրապետության և Ռուսաստանի ուժերը Լիսիչանսկ են մտել միանգամից հինգ ուղղություններից և սեղմում են օղակը քաղաքում մնացած ուկրաինական զորքերի շուրջ։

Ուկրաինայի ԶՈՒ գլխավոր շտաբն իր առավոտյան ճեպազրույցում նույնպես անդրադարձել է Լիսիչանսկում ընթացող մարտերին։

«Դոնեցկի ուղղությամբ հակառակորդը հրետանու աջակցությամբ փորձում է հարավից շրջափակել Լիսիչանսկ քաղաքը: Հակառակորդը ռմբակոծում է քաղաքացիական և ռազմական ենթակառուցվածքները Լիսիչանսկ, Վոլչեյարովկա, Լոսկուտովկա և Վերխնեկամենկա բնակավայրերում: Լիսիչանսկի մոտակայքում խոցվել է թշնամու գրոհային ինքնաթիռ»,- հայտնել է Ուկրաինայի ԶՈՒ ԳՇ խոսնակ Ալեքսանդր Շտուպունը:

Ուկրաինայի զինված ուժերի գլխավոր շտաբը տեղեկություններ է հաղորոդել նաև այլ ուղղություններում ընթացող մարտերի մասին։

«Խարկովի ուղղությամբ հակառակորդը տանկերով, ականանետներով, փողային և ռեակտիվ հրետանիով հարվածներ է հասցրել մի շարք բնակավայրերի։ Բախմուտի ուղղությամբ հակառակորդը ականանետներով, փողային և ռեակտիվ հրետանիով կրակել է մեր դիրքերի վրա։ Ավդեևկայի, Կուրախովի, Նովոպավլովկայի և Զապորոժիեի ուղղություններում հակառակորդը փողային և ռեակտիվ հրետանիով գնդակոծել է մեր զորքերի դիրքերը շփման գծի երկայնքով»,- հավելել է Շտուպունը։

ՏԱՍՍ գործակալությունն իր հերթին հայտնել է, որ ուկրաինական ուժերն առավոտյան 122 տրամաչափի հրետանիով գնդակոծել են Դոնեցկը։ Ուկրաինական ուժերի կողմից գնդակոծվել է նաև Լուգանսկի Ժողովրդական Հանրապետության տարածքը, այդ թվում «Տոչկա-Ու» մարտավարական հրթիռային համալիրից։
