«Հակառակորդներին օրենք, յուրայիններին՝ ամեն ինչ»․ ահա այն սկզբունքը, որով առաջնորդվում է Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը՝ ցանկացած օրենք մեկնաբանելիս։
«Իրազեկ քաղաքացիների միավորում» կազմակերպության ծրագրերի տնօրեն Դանիել Իոաննիսյանն է երեկ նույնիսկ ուշագրավ գրառում արել՝ նշելով, թե «ԱՐԱՐ» հիմնադրամի համահիմնադիր, հասարակական-քաղաքական գործիչ Ավետիք Չալաբյանը ձերբակալվեց առանց իր իմացության և համաձայնության կատարված ձայնագրության հիման վրա դրա հրապարակման հաջորդ իսկ օրը, իսկ 2 օր առաջ հրապարակվեց Գագիկ Ջհանգիրյանի առանց իր իմացության ու համաձայնության կատարված ձայնագրությունը, որով նա խոստովանում է մի քանի դրվագով արդարադատությանը խառնվելու մեջ։ Անցել է երկու օր, բայց անգամ գործ չի հարուցվել, իսկ իշխանության ներկայացուցիչները որևէ կերպ չեն մեկնաբանում Ջհանգիրյանի արած լկտի և լպիրշ հայտարարությունները։ Ըստ Իոաննիսյանի՝ Ջհանգիրյանն էլ, Չալաբյանն էլ քրեական օրենքով արգելված արարք են գործել, բայց Չալաբյանն այն արել է իշխանության դեմ, իսկ Ջհանգիրյանը իշխանության համար։
Մի կողմ թողնենք այն հանգամանքը, որ Ավետիք Չալաբյանի արարքում որևէ ապացույց գոյություն չունի և նրան հանիրավի պահում են ազատազրկման մեջ։ Ուշագրավն այն է, որ նույնիսկ իշխանությանը մերձ կանգնած անձն է ստիպված լինում խոստովանել, որ Հայաստանի գործող իշխանությունները կամովի են մեկնաբանում օրենքի ցանկացած դրույթ և իրենց յուրայիններին ակնհայտ ապօրինությունների համար չեն հետապնդում, իսկ Ավետիք Չալաբյանին, օրինակ, պահում են անազատության մեջ՝ չապացուցված մեղադրանքներով։
Այս ամենը վկայում է, որ Հայաստանում գործող անարդարադատության համակարգը սկսել է մտահոգել նույնիսկ իշխանության ներկայացուցիչներին, որոնց մեջ էլ կան մարդիկ, որ գիտակցում են, թե ինչ խնդիրներ կարող է այս վարքը հարուցել Հայաստանի Հանրապետության համար։ Միջազգային կառույցները առայժմ լուռ են Ավետիք Չալաբյանի կալանավորման հարցով, սակայն ստիպված են լինելու ի վերջո գնահատական հնչեցնել և մեկնաբանել, թե ինչ է կատարվում իրականում Հայաստանում։ Ըստ էության, գործ ունենք ընտրովի արդարադատության հետ, որը որևէ դրական բան չի խոստանում Հայաստանին։
