Հայաստանում կտրուկ աճել է ինքնասպանությունների թիվը: Միայն վերջին վեց ամսում, ըստ հրապարակումների,
ինքնասպանության միջոցով մահացել են 30 քաղաքացիներ, իսկ 11 քաղաքացու ինքնասպանության փորձը հաջողվել է կանխել: Ի՞նչ է սա նշանակում: 
 
Սա ահազանգ է: Այդ մարդիկ ապրում են մեր կողքին, մեր հասարակության մի մասնիկն են և գնացել են ծայրահեղ քայլերի: Մի՞թե մենք, որպես հասարակություն, այսքան անտարբեր ենք դարձել: Մի՞թե կորցրել ենք մարդկային պարզ հոգատարությունն ու վերածվել ենք ռոբոտների, որ չենք նկատում մեր կողքին ապրողների հոգսերը, հույզերը, ապրումները, ներաշխարհը:
 
Մի՞թե մենք իրավունք ունենք այսքան կույր ու անհաղորդ լինել:
Վերջերս փողոցում քայլելիս աշխատում եմ որսալ անցորդների հայացքներն ու նայել նրանց աչքերի մեջ: Թախիծ ու տրտմություն եմ տեսնում, անօգնականություն ու հուսահատություն: Երբեմն փորձում ես սովորական ժպիտով մի ակնթարթ փոխել մարդկանց տրամադրությունը: Հաճախ ստացվում է, երբեմն` ոչ:
 
Մենք պարտավոր ենք բարոյապես գոնե զգալ մեկս մյուսին: Լիբերալիզմն ու վայրի կապիտալիզմը մեր հասարակությանը իբրև թե դարձրել է մարդակենտրոն, բայց իրականում դարձրել է էգոիստ ու միայնակ: Երիտասարդները չեն նկատում ավագներին, ավագները չեն հասկանում երիտասարդներին: Յուրաքանչյուրն իր հեռախոսին կառչած ու ականջակալներով փակված` կտրվել է աշխարհից: Իսկ եթե զրուցում ու շփվում են, ավելի շատ միմյանց չեն հասկանում...
 
Մենք այս մեծ ու ծով հասարակության մեջ ապրում ենք մենակ: Մենակությունը մարդու համար ամենաանկանխատեսելի վտանգն է:
 
Ընտանիքը, կազմակերպությունը, կոլեկտիվը, գյուղը, քաղաքը, մարզը, պետությունը նրա համար է, որպեսզի մարդը մենակ չմնա իր հոգսերի ու պրոբլեմների հետ: Հատկապես պատերազմի թարմ ու ծանր վերքեր ունեցող հասարակությունը պետք է զգա մեկը մյուսի զարկերակը, միտքը, ոգին:
