Թուրքիայի պաշտպանության նախարար Հուլուսի Աքարը և հույն պատգամավորները սուր լեզվակռիվ են ունեցել անցյալ երեքշաբթի Ստամբուլում ՆԱՏՕ-ի Խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովի Միջերկրական ծովի և Մերձավոր Արևելքի հարցերով հատուկ խմբի և քաղաքական հանձնաժողովի համատեղ հանդիպման ժամանակ, հայտնում է հունական ekathimerini.com կայքը։
Ամեն ինչ սկսել է նրանից, որ պատգամավորներ Սպիլիոս Լիվանոսը, Մանուսոս Վոլոդակիսը, Թեոդորա Ցակրին և Անդրեա Լովերդոսը արձագանքել են, երբ Աքարը կրկնել է Թուրքիայի պահանջն ուղղված Հունաստանին՝ ապառազմականացնել իր կղզիները Միջերկրական ծովի արևելյան մասում։
«Ինչպե՞ս կարող է Թուրքիան մի կողմից հղում անել ՆԱՏՕ-ին, իսկ մյուս կողմից՝ Հունաստանին սպառնալ casus belli-ով (պատերազմ հայտարարելու պաշտոնական պատճառ)»:Նա նաև ընդգծել է, որ Անկարան խոսում է պետությունների ինքնիշխանության մասին, մինչդեռ Թուրքիան էր, որ 1974 թվականին ներխուժել է Կիպրոս։
Թուրքիայի ռազմական գերատեսչության ղեկավարը, ակնհայտորեն նյարդայնացած, պատասխանել է, որ «եթե խոսում եք Հյուսիսային Կիպրոսի օկուպացիայի մասին, դա նշանակում է, որ դուք հենց սկզբից ուզում եք վիճել»։
«Թուրքիան օկուպանտ չէ Հյուսիսային Կիպրոսում։ Մինչև 1974 թվականն այնտեղ տեղի են ունեցել ջարդեր ու հեղաշրջումներ»,- ասել է Աքարը։
Դիմելով հարևան երկրի պաշտպանության նախարարին՝ պատգամավոր Վոլոդակիսն իր հերթին ասել է, որ «ոչ մի օր չի անցնում առանց Թուրքիայի կողմից պատերազմի սպառնալիքի»։
«Մենք տեսնում ենք թուրքական կործանիչների թռիչքներ հունական բնակեցված կղզիների վրայով։ Վերջերս դուք նաև պահանջում եք ապառազմականացնել Արևելյան Էգեյան ծովի կղզիները»,- Աքարին դիմել է Վոլոդակիսը։
Թուրք նախարարը պատասխանել է, որ «հունական ինքնաթիռները մեր մայրցամաք են ժամանել ապրիլի 27-ին և խախտել մեր օդային տարածքը»։ Աքարը նաև նշել է, որ Հունաստանն «օգնում է ահաբեկիչներին»։ Սա առաջացրել է հույն օրենսդիրների սուր արձագանքը։
