Կապիկի տարվա համար ամանորյա ճաշացանկ կազմելը շատ հեշտ է, չէ՞ որ կապիկն ամենակեր է: Իսկ կապիկի տարում ամանորյա մթերքների չինական ցուցակը շատ հարմարավետ է: Նախ` սեղանին պետք է ընկույզ լինի, որը հարստություն եւ հաջողություն է խորհրդանշում: Կարող եք նաեւ ընկույզով ռուլետ պատրաստել:
Երկրորդ, սեղանին պիտի միրգ լինի` մանդարին, բանան, նարինջ, կարմիր խնձոր։
Չինական հավատալիքների համաձայն, բանանը խորհրդանշում է կայունություն եւ հանգիստ կյանք: Չինական հետաքրքիր ավանդույթ է հյուրերի հետ մանդարին փոխանակելը: Հյուրերը պիտի տանտերերին երկու մանդարին նվիրեն եւ դրա դիմաց երկու մանդարին ստանան:
Չինարեն «երկու մանդարին» արտահայտությունը շատ նման է «ոսկի» բառին, դրա համար էլ երկու մանդարին նվիրողը ստացողին խորհրդանշական կերպով մաղթում է հարստություն եւ բարգավաճում:
Երրորդ` անպայման ձուկ դրեք սեղանին, չէ՞ որ չինարեն ձուկ բառը`յույ, նույն կերպ է հնչում, ինչ «լիությունը», «առատությունը»: Ձուկն անպայման պիտի ամբողջությամբ եփվի, չէ՞ որ ձուկը խորհրդանշում է ամբողջ տարին, իսկ տարուց չի կարելի կտրել սկիզբը կամ վերջը: Մնացած կերակրատեսակներն ընտրեք ձեր ճաշակով, միակ բացառությունը սպիտակ գույնի սնունդն է, որը չինացիները երբեք նոր տարվա սեղանին չեն դնի, չէ՞ որ սպիտակ գույնը մահ է խորհրդանշում:
Եթե ձեր ճաշացանկում թթվասեր է նախատեսված, «զարդարեք այն» թարմ կանաչի կամ համեմունքներ ավելացրեք: Նույնիսկ ավանդական բրինձը նոր տարուն սպիտակ չի լինում. սոուսների միջոցով այն ոսկեգույն են դարձնում: Այդ նույն պատճառով չինացիները խորհուրդ չեն տալիս սեղանին սպիտակ սպասք դնել. դրա վրա պիտի գոնե գունավոր երիզ կամ նկար լինի:
