Եվրամիությունը պետք է սկսի ԵՄ անդամակցության բանակցությունները Հյուսիսային Մակեդոնիայի եւ Ալբանիայի հետ, որպեսզի վերջապես կատարի Արեւմտյան Բալկաններն ինտեգրելու իր խոստումը, շաբաթ օրը տարածաշրջան իր շրջագայության երկրորդ օրը հայտարարել է Գերմանիայի կանցլեր Օլաֆ Շոլցը, փոխանցում է Reuters-ը։

Սկոպյեում ելույթի ժամանակ Շոլցը նշել է, որ «Ռուսաստանի ներխուժումն Ուկրաինա կարեւոր է դարձրել Եվրոպայի համար համախմբվելը», եւ նա բարձր է գնահատել Հյուսիսային Մակեդոնիայի աջակցությունը Կրեմլի դեմ պատժամիջոցներին։

«Շատ կարեւոր է նոր դինամիկա մտցնել այս գործընթացում։ Ես կողմ հանդես կգամ, որպեսզի հաջորդ քայլերը կայանան»,- ասել է Շոլցը Հյուսիսային Մակեդոնիայի վարչապետ Դիմիտար Կովաչեւսկու հետ մամուլի ասուլիսին:

Իր հերթին, Կովաչեւսկին ընդգծել է, որ Հյուսիսային Մակեդոնիան «շատ բարդ բարեփոխումներ» է կատարել 27 անդամներից բաղկացած դաշինքին միանալու համար, այդ թվում՝ փոխել է անվանումը՝ հունական առարկություններին համապատասխանելու համար։

Այժմ գլխավոր խոչընդոտը Բուլղարիայի հետ պատմության ու լեզվի շուրջ վեճն է։

Ալբանիայի եւ 1990-ականներին Հարավսլավիայի փլուզումից եւ էթնիկ պատերազմներից հետո առաջացած երկրների՝ ԵՄ անդամակցության ջատագովները պնդում են, որ դա կթուլացնի տարածաշրջանային լարվածությունը, «հակազդեցություն Ռուսաստանի եւ Չինաստանի աճող ազդեցությանը» եւ կբարելավի կենսամակարդակը:

Չորս երկրներ՝ Սերբիան, Չեռնոգորիան, Հյուսիսային Մակեդոնիան եւ Ալբանիան, արդեն թեկնածուի կարգավիճակ ունեն, թեեւ վերջին երկուսը դեռ չեն սկսել անդամակցության շուրջ բանակցությունները։ Վերջին տարիներին ընդհանուր գործընթացը կանգ էր առել ԵՄ հետագա ընդլայնման նպատակահարմարության վերաբերյալ կասկածների ֆոնին:
