Հայաստանի մեծ զավակը․ Արամ Խաչատրյանի ծննդյան օրն է

Ժանրերի բազմազանություն, ռիթմի ու ոճի արտասովորություն, ներդաշնակված ինտոնացիոն առանձնահատկություններ․ այսօր հանրահայտ կոմպոզիտոր Արամ Խաչատրյանի ծննդյան օրն է։
Նա ծնվել է 1903 թվականի հունիսի 6-ին Թիֆլիսում: 1921 թ․-ի աշնանը տեղափոխվել է Մոսկվա՝ ուսում ստանալու։ Խաչատրյանն ընդունվել է Գնեսինների երաժշտական տեխնիկում, որտեղ թավջութակի դասարանում երկու տարի սովորելուց հետո, իր ուսուցիչ Գնեսինի խորհրդով, տեղափոխվել է ստեղծագործական դասարան: 1929 թ․-ին Ա. Խաչատրյանը ավարտում է Գնեսինների ուսումնարանը եւ ընդունվում Մոսկվայի կոնսերվատորիայի նախ` Մ. Գնեսինի, ապա` Ն. Մյասկովսկու ստեղծագործական դասարանը: Ա. Խաչատրյանը շարունակում է ուսումը ասպիրանտուրայում, կրկին` Ն. Մյասկովսկու ղեկավարությամբ և ավարտում է այն իր մի նոր խոշոր կտավի գործով` Դաշնամուրի կոնցերտով:
Խաչատրյանը երկար տարիներ դասավանդում էր Գնեսինների անվան ինստիտում եւ Մոսկվայի կոնսերվատորիայի պրոֆեսոր էր:
Նրա 3 սիմֆոնիաները, 3 կոնցերտներն ու Կոնցերտ ռապսոդիաները, բալետները, այլ սիմֆոնիկ գործերը, ստեղծագործությունները մենակատարների, երգչախմբի և սիմֆոնիկ նվագախմբի համար, կամերային և վոկալ ստեղծագործությունները, դրամատիկական ներկայացումների և 17 կինոֆիլմերի համար գրված երաժշտությունը, այդ թվում` հայկական «Պեպո» և «Զանգեզուր» ֆիլմերը, գրավում են մեծ լսարաններ գրեթե բոլոր մայրցամաքներում: Որպես կոմպոզիտոր եւ նվագավար՝ Արամ Խաչատրյանը հեղինակային համերգներով հանդես է եկել ավելի քան 50 երկրներում՝. Ավստրիա, Բելգիա, Մեծ Բրիտանիա, Բուլղարիա, Ռումինիա, Հունգարիա, Լեհաստան, Չեխոսլովակիա, Հարավսլավիա, Եգիպտոս, Հունաստան, Գերմանիա, Իտալիա, Ֆրանսիա, Ֆինլադիա, Իրան, Շվեդիա, Շվեյցարիա, Նորվեգիա, Ճապոնիա, Միացյալ Նահանգներ, Մեքսիկա, Լատինական Ամերիկայի երկրներ և այլն:
Հայաստանի մեծ զավակի հիշատակը հավերժացնելու համար 1984 թ․-ին Երեւանում բացվեց Արամ Խաչատրյանի տուն-թանգարանը:
