Գերմանիայի կանցլեր Օլաֆ Շոլցը հայտարարել է, որ Գերմանիան շուտով կունենա «Եվրոպայի ամենամեծ ավանդական բանակը» Հյուսիսատլանտյան դաշինքի երկրների շարքում։ Այս կարծիքը նա հայտնել է երկուշաբթի երեկոյան Neue Berliner Redaktionsgesellschaft, Stuttgarter Zeitung և Stuttgarter Nachrichten թերթերին տված հարցազրույցում, գրում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը։ 

«Գերմանիան շուտով կունենա Եվրոպայում ամենամեծ ավանդական բանակը ՆԱՏՕ-ի կազմում»,- ասել է Շոլցը՝ հավելելով, որ դա զգալիորեն կուժեղացնի Գերմանիայի և նրա դաշնակիցների անվտանգությունը։

Միևնույն ժամանակ, կանցլերը չի հասկանում Ուկրաինային ռազմական աջակցության բացակայության պատճառով գերմանական իշխանությունների հասցեին հնչող քննադատությունները ինչպես երկրի ներսում, այնպես էլ արտերկրում։

«Մենք զենք ենք փոխանցել և ավելի շատ զենք ենք մատակարարելու: Այդ պատվերները կատարվում են»,- ընդգծել է Շոլցը՝ նկատի ունենալով ծանր սպառազինության մատակարարումը, որը համաձայնեցվել է արդյունաբերության հետ։

Եզրափակելով Շոլցը նշել է, որ Գերմանիայի բոլոր դաշնակիցները գիտեն, որ «Բունդեսվերը չունի օգտագործման համար պատրաստ մեքենաների մեծ պաշարներ, որոնք կարող են պարզապես առաքվել»:

Գլխավոր խնդիրն այն է, որ Բունդեսվերը կառուցվածքային առումով թերֆինանսավորվում է 2010 թվականից, ինչը, ըստ կանցլերի, ընդհանուր առմամբ սահմանափակել է Գերմանիայի պաշտպանունակությունը։ Բայց հիմա Բունդեսվերի համար 100 միլիարդ եվրոյի չափով հատուկ հիմնադրամի ստեղծման շնորհիվ ամեն ինչ պետք է փոխվի, եզրափակել է Շոլցը։
