Պենտագոնը բացատրել է ռուսական զորքի հաջողությունները Դոնբասում

Դոնբասում Ռուսաստանի վերջին ձեռքբերումները կապված են ավելի փոքր տարածքով ռուսական զորքերի առաջխաղացման, ինչպես նաև տարածքի աշխարհագրության հետ։ Այս մասին ուրբաթ կայացած ճեպազրույցում հայտարարել է Պենտագոնի խոսնակ Ջոն Քիրբին։
Նա հիշեցրել է, որ Կիևի վրա ռուսական զորքերի հարձակումն ավարտվել է անհաջողությամբ՝ նյութատեխնիկական խնդիրների պատճառով, ինչի արդյունքում ռուսական տեխնիկայի շարասյունը տասնյակ կիլոմետրերով ձգվել է։
«Դոնբասն այլ տարածք է: Այն ավելի հարթ է, ավելի բաց, կան շատ դաշտեր, քաղաքները և գյուղերը փոքր են: Եվ քանի որ այն գտնվում է Արևելյան Ուկրաինայում, այն ավելի մոտ է Ռուսաստանի սահմաններին և նրանց մատակարարման և ռեսուրսների շղթային», - շեշտել է Քիրբին:
ԱՄՆ պաշտպանության նախարարության ներկայացուցիչը հավելել է, որ ռուսական առաջխաղացումը Դոնբասում սահմանափակվում է նրանով, որ զորքերը չեն ցանկանում պոկվել մատակարարման շղթայից։
«Դրա մի մասը կապված է աշխարհագրության հետ՝ Ռուսաստանին մոտ լինելը և տարածքի առանձնահատկությունները, բայց ևս մեկ պատճառ, թե ինչու են նրանք աստիճանաբար առաջ են գնում, իհարկե, ոչ միայն ուկրաինական դիմադրության պատճառով, այլ նաև այն պատճառով, որ նրանք չեն ցանկանում չափազանց հեռու տեղափոխվել իրենց մատակարարման աղբյուրներից»,- նշել է նա։
Միևնույն ժամանակ, Պենտագոնը չի կարծում, որ Ռուսաստանին հաջողվել է լիովին հաղթահարել հարձակման հետ կապված խնդիրները՝ կառավարում, ցամաքային և օդային գործողությունների ինտեգրման ապահովում։
Երեկ հաղորդվել էր, որ ինքնահռչակ «Լուգանսկի Ժողովրդական Հանրապետության» և ռուսական բանակի ստորաբաժանումներն ամբողջությամբ կտրել են Ուկրաինայի Զինված ուժերի՝ Լուգանսկի տարածքից նահանջի ճանապարհները։ Այս մասին հայտնում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը՝ հղում անելով ԼԺՀ-ի ժողովրդական միլիցիայի սպա Անդրեյ Մարոչկոյի հայտարարությանը։
Ուկրաինական բանակը մայիսի 27-ի դրությամբ վերահսկում է Լուգանսկի շրջանում փոքր տարածք, ներառյալ Սևերոդոնեցկ և Լիսիչանսկ քաղաքները։ Այս բնակավայրերի պարագծով մարտեր են մղվում, փաստացի զինվորականները շրջափակված են։
«Մենք կտրել ենք հաղորդակցության բացարձակապես բոլոր ուղիները, որոնցով նրանք կարող էին դուրս գալ: Մենք դիտարկում ենք բացարձակապես ամբողջ տարածքը», - ասել է Մարոչկոն:
