Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևը հայտարարել է, որ երկիրը պետք է ավելացնի իր հզորությունը, քանի որ ուժի գործոնը չափազանց կարևոր է: Նա այս մասին ասել է մայիսի 27-ին Արցախի օկուպացված Կովսականի (Զանգելան) շրջան կատարած այցի ժամանակ իր ելույթում, գրում է Minval.az-ը:

«Այսօր առաջին պլան է մղվում ուժի գործոնը։ Ես այս մասին խոսել եմ տասը տարի առաջ: Իմ բոլոր ելույթները մամուլում կան: Ես ասում էի, որ միջազգային իրավունքը չի գործում։ Ես ասում էի, որ մենք ինքներս չպետք է խաբենք մեզ, մենք պետք է էլ ավելի հզորանանք, ուժ հավաքենք և հարկ եղած դեպքում թշնամուն ուժով քշենք «մեր հողից» (չակերտները` Tert.am)։ Ասել եմ ու արել եմ»,- հայտարարել է Ալիևը:

Ընդգծելով, որ ուժի գործոնը կշարունակի գերիշխել աշխարհում, նա հավելել է.«Նորագույն պատմությունը դա է ցույց տալիս։ Ուստի մենք պետք է շարունակենք ուժեղ լինել։ Այսօր մեր տնտեսական ցուցանիշները շատ դրական են։ Կարող եմ ասել, որ այս տարի Ադրբեջանն աշխարհի ամենաարագ զարգացող երկրներից մեկն է։ Մենք նաև ուժեղացնում ենք մեր ռազմական հզորությունը: Պատերազմից հետո ստեղծվել են նոր զինված կազմավորումներ, գնվել է նոր տեխնիկա, և մենք կշարունակենք դա անել։ Որովհետև եթե մենք ուժեղ չլինենք, չենք կարողանա ապրել այնպես, ինչպես ուզում ենք։ Մենք ուզում ենք ազատ ապրել։ Մենք ցանկանում ենք, որ ապագայում ոչ ոք չխառնվի մեր գործերին: Դրա կարիքը չկա։ Մենք այնպիսի «հրաշալի պետություն» (չակերտները` Tert.am) ենք կառուցել, որին այսօր շատերը կարող են նախանձել։ Թող մեզ ոչ ոք չսովորեցնի, խորհուրդ չտա: Դա ավելորդ է»:
