Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը չորեքշաբթի կրկին հասկացնել է տվել, որ երկրի իշխանությունները չեն աջակցի Շվեդիայի և Ֆինլանդիայի անդամակցությանը ՆԱՏՕ-ին, քանի որ նրանք Անկարայի խնդրանքով չեն արտահանձնել ենթադրյալ ահաբեկիչներին, գրում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը։

«Մենք խնդրել ենք, որ 30 ահաբեկչի մեզ հանձնեն, մեզ չեն հանձնել, դուք մեզ չեք հանձնում ահաբեկիչներին, բայց միևնույն ժամանակ ակնկալում եք, որ մենք կաջակցենք ՆԱՏՕ-ին անդամակցելու հարցում։ ՆԱՏՕ-ն անվտանային կազմակերպություն է, ուստի մենք «այո» չենք ասի մի կազմակերպության, որն ինքնին անապահով է»,- ասել է Էրդողանը խորհրդարանում ելույթ ունենալով իշխող «Արդարություն և զարգացում» կուսակցության նիստում:

Թուրքիայի նախագահը ևս մեկ անգամ հորդորել է Շվեդիայի և Ֆինլանդիայի ներկայացուցիչներին ժամանակ չկորցնել Անկարա այցելելով՝ նրան համոզելու աջակցել ՆԱՏՕ-ին անդամակցելու հարցում։

«ՆԱՏՕ-ն քայլեր է ձեռնարկում իր արևելյան սահմանների ընդլայնման ուղղությամբ: Մենք տեսնում ենք, թե ինչպես են ուկրաինական ճգնաժամի պայմաններում ինչ-որ մեկի համար գիրկը բացումը, բարի կամք դրսևորում: Որպես ՆԱՏՕ-ի դաշնակից՝ մենք տարիներ շարունակ պայքարել ենք ահաբեկչության դեմ և չենք տեսել նման վերաբերմունք մեր հանդեպ»,- ասել է Թուրքիայի նախագահը։

Էրդողանը մայիսի 16-ին հայտարարել էր, որ դեմ է Ֆինլանդիայի և Շվեդիայի անդամակցությանը ՆԱՏՕ-ին՝ կապված այդ երկրների՝ Քրդստանի աշխատավորական կուսակցության (PKK) գործունեությանը ներգրավված անձանց արտահանձնելու մերժման, ինչպես նաև «ահաբեկչական կառույցների» վերաբերյալ հստակ դիրքորոշման բացակայության հետ:

Նա խորհուրդ է տվել սկանդինավյան երկրների ներկայացուցիչներին, որոնք մոտ ապագայում պատրաստվում են այցելել Անկարա, որպեսզի համոզեն Թուրքիային ընդունել իրենց Հյուսիսատլանտյան դաշինք, նեղություն չքաշել ու Անկարա չգալ:
