Ներկայում Զանգիլանի (Կովսական) շրջանում խոշոր ենթակառուցվածքային ծրագրեր են իրականացվում։ Դրանց թվում ուզում եմ նշել տրանսպորտային ենթակառուցվածքը, որը «Զանգեզուրի միջանցքի» (չակերտները՝ Tert.am) անբաժանելի մասն է։ Այս մասին հայտարարել է Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևը։
Ալիևը նշել է, որ Զանգիլանի (Կովսական) միջազգային օդանավակայանը շահագործման կհանձնվի այս տարի։
«Վստահ եմ, որ այս օդանավակայանը շատ մեծ գործառույթներ է ունենալու։ Որովհետև մենք Զանգիլանը տեսնում ենք որպես ապագայում միջազգային տրանսպորտային և լոգիստիկ կենտրոն։ Դա կապահովեն տարածքի աշխարհագրական դիրքը, միջազգային շուկաներին մոտ լինելը և այլ գործոններ... Ինչ վերաբերում է «Զանգեզուրի միջանցքին» (չակերտները՝ Tert.am), ապա այս միջանցքն արդեն իրականություն է։ Ե՛վ երկաթգիծը, և՛ Զանգիլանի շրջանի տարածքով անցնող մայրուղին ոչ միայն կկապեն Ադրբեջանի հիմնական մասը Նախիջևանի Ինքնավար Հանրապետության հետ, այլև կդառնան միջազգային բեռնափոխադրումների նոր երթուղի, կլինեն միջազգային երթուղի։ Հետևաբար, և միևնույն ժամանակ, նախկին ներքին տեղահանվածների հարմարության համար, մենք արագորեն կառուցում ենք չորս և վեց գոտիներով ճանապարհ։ Այս ճանապարհի փուլային շահագործումը կսկսվի հաջորդ տարի»,- ասել է Ալիևը։
