«Անորակ զենքի» մատակարարման, կամ, այսպես կոչված, «Դավիթ Տոնոյանի և մյուսների» գործով դատավարությունները շարունակվում են: Այս ընթացքում եղել են տարբեր շահարկումներ, մասնավորաբար` կարո՞ղ էր պատերազմի արդյունքն այլ լիներ, եթե, օրինակ` այդ «անորակ զենքի» հանգամանքը չլիներ: Հարցի հետ կապված «Փաստը» մեկնաբանություն խնդրեց ռազմական փորձագետ Արծրուն Հովհաննիսյանից: Հետաքրքրվեցինք` արդյո՞ք պատերազմի վրա էական ազդեցություն կարող էր թողնել «անորակ զենքի» գործոնը, որի վերաբերյալ այսօր քրեական գործեր են հարուցված: «Մինչև քրեական գործերը պատասխանները չտան, թե այդ զենքերը ինչքանով են անորակ եղել, և այդ անորակ զենքերը, եթե եղել են, ինչքան տոկոս են կազմել ընդհանուր զենքերի մեջ, այդ հարցի պատասխանը ոչ մեկ չի կարող տալ: Ընդհանուր, եթե զուտ տրամաբանորեն նայենք, եթե եղել է անորակ զենք և եթե այն եղել է համապատասխան քանակի՝ եղած ընդհանուր զենքերի մեջ, չէր կարող ազդեցություն չթողնել, դա բացառված է: Բայց այդ ամեն ինչն ապացուցելի և հիմնավորելի կլինի միայն քրեական գործերից հետո»,-նշեց Հովհաննիսյանը:

Այս օրերին պաշտպանության նախկին նախարար Դավիթ Տոնոյանի հետ նույն գործով անցնող մի շարք առանցքային դերակատարներ տարբեր խափանման միջոցներով հայտնվել են ազատության մեջ, մինչդեռ Տոնոյանը մնում է կալանավորված։ Հովհաննիսյանին հարց ուղղեցինք` ինչպե՞ս է նա մեկնաբանում սա, քաղաքական միտում տեսնո՞ւմ է, թե՞ ոչ: Վերջինս այսպես արձագանքեց. «Հարցը տանում եք այնտեղ, որտեղ ես իրավասություն չունեմ, բարոյական առումով էլ ճիշտ չէ: Գործն ավարտված չէ, նիստերն ավարտված չեն և այլն: Ես կարող եմ միայն ցավ ապրել որպես մարդ. Տոնոյան Դավիթը իմ նախարարն է եղել, ես չեմ կարող ուրանալ այդ մարդու դերը իմ և բանակի կյանքում: Ես միայն կարող եմ խորը ցավ ապրել, որ այդ պրոցեսը հիմա ընթանում է իր շուրջ, իր հետ կապված: Այդքան բան: Մնացածը քրեական գործի մանրամասներ են, իրավական առումով էլ ճիշտ չէ, որ ես հիմա մեկնաբանեմ: Թող քրեական գործերն ավարտվեն, թող ապացուցվի այդ ամեն ինչը, թող ապացուցվի, որ անորակ զենք է եղել, թող ապացուցվի, որ այդ անորակ զենքը ինչ-որ տոկոս է կազմել ընդհանուր զինանոցի մեջ: Ասենք, բանակը հո այդ մեկ զենքից չէ՞ր կախված, լիքը ուրիշ զենքեր ենք ունեցել, չէ՞»,-եզրափակեց ռազմական փորձագետը:
