Երեկ բավական ուշագրավ օր էր հայ-ադրբեջանական վերջին զարգացումների առումով։ Նախ, կառավարության նիստում Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հայտարարեց, թե Ադրբեջանի զինված ուժերը ներխուժել են Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության խաղաղապահ զորախմբի պատասխանատվության գոտի և շարունակում են ահաբեկել Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի մի շարք գյուղերի բնակչությանը։ Փաշինյանը հստակ արձանագրում արեց՝ մեղադրանքի բոլոր սլաքներն ուղղելով ռուսական կողմի վրա։ Նշեց, թե Փառուխի իրադարձությունները հիմնավորում են, որ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հայությունը պաշտպանվելու կարիք ունի, այլապես կդառնա ցեղասպանության զոհ։ Ընդսմին, նաև Հայաստանի վարչապետի պաշտոնը զբաղեցնող անձը հայտարարեց, թե իրենք որևէ տարակարծություն չունեն Ադրբեջանի ներկայացրած 5 պահանջների վերաբերյալ և պատրաստ են հենց այսօր էլ «Խաղաղության պայմանագիր» կնքել՝ լրամշակելով ներկայացված 5 պահանջները։

Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին պատասխանել են Ադրբեջանի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Ջեյհուն Բայրամովը, ով կոնկրետ առաջարկներ է ակնկալում պաշտոնական Երևանից, Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևը, ում հետ առաջիկայում հանդիպում է կայանալու հենց եվրոպական խորհրդի նախագահ Շառլ Միշելի մասնակցությամբ։ Փաշինյանին արձագանքեցին նաև Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը, արտգործնախարար Մևլյութ Չավուշօղուն, իսկ արդեն երեկոյան կողմ հայտնի դարձավ, որ Հայաստանի վարչապետի և Ադրբեջանի նախագահի հետ հեռախոսազրույցներ է ունեցել Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը։
