Ռուսաստանը մտադիր չէ բարեգործությամբ զբաղվել և Եվրոպային անվճար մատակարարել իր բնական գազը: Մոսկվան, եթե ԵՄ-ն հրաժարվի այդ մատակարարումների համար վճարել ռուբլով, կուսումնասիրի իրավիճակը և հետագա որոշումներ կկայացնի։ Այս մասին ամերիկյան PBS հեռուստաընկերության եթերում հայտարարել է ՌԴ նախագահի մամուլի քարտուղար Դմիտրի Պեսկովը։

«Ես չգիտեմ, թե ինչ կլինի, երբ նրանք մերժեն այս հնարավորությունը: Երբ մենք իմանանք վերջնական որոշումը, կուսումնասիրենք, թե ինչ կարելի է անել: Սակայն մենք միանշանակ մտադիր չենք այս առումով բարեգործությամբ զբաղվել, անվճար գազ ուղարկել Արևմտյան Եվրոպա»,- ասել է ՌԴ ղեկավարի պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչը՝ մեկնաբանելով արևմտյան երկրների հայտարարությունները, թե իրենք չեն պատրաստվում ռուբլով վճարել ռուսական գազի համար։

«Չկա վճարում, չկա գազ»,- զգուշացրել է Պեսկովը։

«Իհարկե, մենք չէինք ուզենա դա տեսնել մեր իրականության մեջ»,- ասել է Պեսկովը՝ ի պատասխան հաղորդավարի այն նկատառմանը, որ Գերմանիան և մի շարք այլ երկրներ, որոնք վաղուց ռուսական գազի առանցքային գնորդներից են եղել, այժմ խոսում են կապույտ վառելիքից հրաժարվելու մասին:

Պեսկովն ասել է, որ Արևմուտքի պետությունները իրականում լայնամասշտաբ տնտեսական պատերազմ են սանձազերծել Ռուսաստանի դեմ։

Մարտի 28-ին ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը հանձնարարել է կառավարությանը, Ռուսաստանի բանկին և «Գազպրոմ» ՓԲԸ-ին մինչև մարտի 31-ը միջոցներ ձեռնարկել անբարյացակամ երկրների հետ գազի համար վճարումները ռուբլով ստանալու համար։
