Վեդիում նախընտրական կրքերը հասել են գագաթնակետին: Գարիկ Սարգսյանի կողմնակիցները երեկ ուշ գիշերին քաղաքում «ռազբորկա» են արել, ծեծկռտուք հրահրել: Վեդի քաղաքի կենտրոնական փողոցում գտնվող ՔՊ շտաբի ներկայացուցիչը երեկ փողոցում որոշել է «ատչյոտ» պահանջել մրցակից ճամբարի՝ «Իմ հզոր համայնք» կուսակցության համակիրից, թե ինչու են իրենց թեկնածու Գարիկ Սարգսյանին մրցակիցները կոկորդիլոս, կոկորդիլոսագետ անվանում:
Ընդդիմադիր ճամբարի ներկայացուցիչն էլ պարզաբանել է, որ Գարիկ Սարգսյանն է ինքն իրեն նման մականունով կնքել: Սարգսյանի կողմնակիցը, որը մեր տեղեկություններով Արտաշատ քաղաքի բնակիչ է, որը պարզապես Վեդիում աշխատում է Գարիկի համար, սեռական հայհոյանք է տվել, թե՝ ով ասի կոկորդիլոս, իրա սենցն ու ընենցը: Որից հետո քաշքշուկ է սկսվել, ՔՊ շտաբից մի քանի տասնյակ մարդ դուրս է թափել, մյուս կողմի շտաբից էլ են հասել դեպքի վայր, սկսվել է քաշքշուկ, ծեծկռտուք, ապա ոստիկանները եկել եւ միայն ընդդիմադիրներին են բաժին տարել:
Կեսգիշերին մոտ բաց են թողել տղաներին, որոնցից միայն մեկի անունը մեզ հայտնեցին՝ Վահան Սիմոնյան: Կողմերից եւ ոչ մեկի ներկայացուցիչը լուրջ մարմնական վնասվածքներ չի ստացել: Մեզ ասացին, որ Սարգսյանի շտաբում հատուկ սադրել են եւ ընտրություններից երկու օր առաջ նման միջադեպով նպատակ ունեն բռնել մրցակիցների վախը:
