Իրավիճակը աշխարհում և տարածաշրջանում լարված է, և մենք մեզ պատասխանատու ենք համարում այդ լարվածությունը նվազեցնելու և հիմնարար լուծումներ գտնելու հարցում: Այս առումով մենք, այո, կարծում ենք, որ Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև խաղաղության բանակցությունները պետք է սկսել օր առաջ, Կառավարության նիստի մեկնարկից առաջ ասաց Փաշինյանը։

«Ընդ որում, պետք է արձանագրել նաև սահմանների դեմարկացիայի և դելիմիտացիայի աշխատանքները արագացնելու անհրաժեշտությունը՝ սահմանին անվտանգության և կայունության մակարդակը բարձրացնող քայլերին զուգահեռ: Գիտեք, իհարկե, որ մենք հանդես ենք եկել սահմանից զորքերի հայելային ետքաշման առաջարկով, որպես ետքաշման կողմնորոշիչ նկատի ունենալով խորհրդային ժամանակների Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի դե յուրե հաստատված սահմանագիծը:

Բայց ուզում եմ իմանաք, որ բացի ամբողջական ետքաշումից, մենք հանդես ենք եկել նաև տեղային ետքաշումների առաջարկներով և այստեղ էլ սպասում ենք Ադրբեջանի արձագանքին: Մասնավորապես, Երասխի հատվածում առաջարկել ենք, որ իրենք մի քանի դիրք ետ քաշեն մեր տարածքից, մենք էլ մի քանի դիրք ետ քաշենք իրենց տարածքից, այսպիսով երկուստեք կլուծենք վերջին մեկուկես տարվա ամենաթեժ կետերից մեկի հարցը: Ինչպես ասացի, սպասում ենք Ադրբեջանի արձագանքին:
